This is honestly a refreshing story. Most videos you see with this kind of title end up being a kid fresh out of high school lying about succeeding with a get rich quick scheme, like drop shipping or AI content farms. Good to see someone actually putting in work and building something for real.

Thanks! In the past two years I've been in a lot of communities outside of filmmaking, related to different business models. And it's crazy how many scammers and just overall fake people are out there. I feel like all the filmmaking communities are much much better than anything related to entrepreneurship and making money online.

You accomplished something phenomenal that most people will never achieve in life. The experience has also made you shrewder, in that you know to cover your bases from greedy people such as your previous landlord. Fixed leases for a determined duration are so important to determine your cash flow or a manipulative and lazy landlord has the leverage to take advantage of you. In any case, your future success is inevitable and you're definitely young enough to recover. I wish you every luck in your future endeavors and commend you for sharing your honest journey with the world.

What a heartbreaking story. Your landlord is/was a huge dick. Raising rent and prices like that on a whim is insane. Where I am we sign contracts so rent can't be increased on a month to month basis but only when the contract ends. And we pay electricity to the energy company directly based on usage. Your studio looked dope, as a studio owner as well this was such a sad story. Hopefully you can get enough money in the future to buy your own land and building outright and not have anyone price gauging you out of your business. Seems like he was jealous of your business going so well! Good luck in the future man!
