Dude! 3M scuff paste with a gray scotchbrite pad and some soap and water. scuff the hell out of the plastic before painting and your results will be way better. Just a pro tip for painting plastics. I like Krylon Plastic paint to finish.

Also taller tires like the ones your put onto the 650 in this video make the top end speed go up. I did a whole project w top speed and changing my rear tire size from 12 to 16 inches

My son was inspired, He has a Mx650, he is going to buy a 60v motor with a 60v controller, he just doesn't have new batteries so he has to use the 12v battery that the bike comes with. So basically the motor is going to run 36v (16ish MPH) He is trying to find a cheap 60v battery because his budget is low.

You can buy the same motor on Amazon or eBay and buy the Kelly controller separately. Both can be had for $300 total. And then battery. You can do one for $800-$100 depending on how big 72v battery you need.
