Only works if you happen to have reddit push your post up to be viewed by 1,000s of people, then blogs within the same space take notice and review the product etc. Then again, if you build something people want to use, it will be noticed quickly.

MVP are in fact pretty stupid and not helped with the 95% failure rate in startups. You can do fake registeration sites to get a hint if there is real demand. But it would still not tell you a lot. Instead a MVP you need a MLP a Minimum Lovable Product, because only then you get real feedback. 99% are not new ideas. If you have a new idea to 99% its new because there is no market.

This video just made me very happy. I am building something right now for the WordPress community and I think it could be game changing but I though it couldn't succeed without some marketing budget. Saeed has just shown an example that it is possible without Ad spends as well if your product is good enough. More power to you Saeed. P.S In the current IT world where jobs Layoffs are happening so often. I think instead of spending whole day chasing recruiters and improving resumes, it is best to start building something. Innovation is way forward.

For some reason this might be the most inspiring video in months even though the "ticket size" did not permit for a 1:1 interview. Maybe you guys have a take on what made it inspiring, but my guess would be the simple breakdown of "arbitrage on existing user bases in established platforms".

This issue with this, is that it's all great until the website decides to block or not allow your extension to work, or it changes its back end code so your extension doesn't work at all. But great idea! Great job!

Can you legally add code in that can use AI to auto update wheels this happens????
@FLOW---11 күн бұрын
If you are not doing anything fishy like stealing user data, playing with some adware or any shadowy stuff in tbe background, there is no reason why they would block you ! If the platform changes their backend, update your code if you are relly serious about your project !
@FLOW---11 күн бұрын
@@leeahharris4776 of course you can always update your extension after launch. Then it will be submitted to chrome for review and approval Once they approve the new version, it will automatically be updated to the users.. That means when users open the extension, they will find the new updated one. Just do nor make your extension do sime firbidden stuff after launch because it will either blocked automatically, or exoerienced users will find out and report it and will also be blocked and remived frim chrome extension marketplace.

Platform risk is definitely one of the problems with a tool like this. But then again, if you bank 20,000-30,000 for a year or so, doesn't sound too bad to me. Roll that into the next tool. Sometimes things don't have to last forever
@starterstory2 ай бұрын
Exactly. 3-4 years could become a $1M in profit. Life changing. But even more valuable are the skills you build along those years. Take them and build something even bigger. But most people will scream "platform risk" as an excuse to convince themselves to not build anything.
