I did the same in my studio 5 years ago. I connected the earth wire to my down ceiling grid which is made of metal. This removed the static current from my setup. 😊

This is a workable solution, but just a reminder this over current is now being transferred to wall. Now during monsoon, or high humid time , when walls get little moisture, there can be incidents of some shocks.

Same issue I faced last year ...audio interface and kaafi chiz mein current ata tha .... earthing issue tha mera but Mera main meter se electrician ne kuch kra tha ...phase bhi change kraye the maine toh main line se 🙂but finally ab sb sorted h

Kuch time ke baad baki ghar ki bhi renovation honi hai tab hoga permanent wala kaam earthing ka. Abhi ke liye toh ho gaya 😅
