How I built my own Island PART 1

After completing the core trench, I'm able to work on this Island. Basically these large rocks were dug up from the pond. some were in the original dam at the bottom where the core was installed. I wasn't expecting to find large rocks down that far but I had to dig them out anyway to seal the leak. Win win for me. Anyways I decided to use them for an Island feature, as a place for swimmers to go and possible have fish spawn inside the rock ring. I dug out a hole inside the ring for this very reason. I believe I will make it somewhat similar to a natural hot tub for the summer season.
Inside the ring I would like to install pea gravel, semi precious stones, gems, and maybe some glass marbles. Blue gill brim like pea gravel to spawn in, I hope they'll find the good spot.

Te Kro great question! A liner could be possible, I’m really not sure, but if I need one it should be easy enough to install! Even with the pond full!
