A very lovely, very healthy Phal. Beautiful flowers. Enjoy your videos. I followed your advice from a video on Rhyncostylis and my Giganteas are now looking much better and growing better as well. Thanks!

I met you at our Flamingo Orchid Society meeting, you did a wonderful presentation, full information. I want to know how can I purchase Phal. equestris? Do you have the name of a vendor? Also thank you for the videos.

Thank you for your kind words! I don't have a specific name of a vendor but Phal. equestris is not rare. If you go to Orchid Shows, you should find it. Most are in the pink or purple hues though. My color (cyanochila) is less common.

J’ai jamais le succès avec les phaleanopsis. Ni les hybrid, ni les species. This year, I lost 12. Crown rot gets them every time. I just don’t know what to do with them.

Hi Sunita: crown rot is a major issue with Phals. Here are some tips to avoid it: * grow them on the dry side (I do this very successfully with them all) * if you grow in a pot, make sure the lower leaves are above the medium. Only roots inside the pot. * try mounting them and have the leaves face downward to avoid the crown collecting water....but the trade-off is that you have to water them almost every day * by colder nights (but do you have those in India??) below 15 Celsius, you should have a dry medium to avoid diseases
