I'm in the process of doing mine right now (did both front disk brakes yesterday afternoon, doing the rear this afternoon). To do it by myself I found a neat single-person motorcycle brake bleeder off Ebay that's essentially 2 clear hoses with a 1-way valve between them (the valve has an arrow stamped into the side to indicate direction of flow, from caliper to waste container). When you pump the brake pedal the old fluid is forced out and down the tube thru the 1-way valve to waste, but it cannot back-up from the 1-way valve when you release the brake pedal so no air can get back into the caliper... worked well for me so far, and very inexpensive! Regards!

A suction-bulb from local auto parts works well to suck fresh DOT 4 brake fluid from the container and then refill the fluid reservoir under the seat without having to have the seat up higher than normal... just keep the bulb clean and only use it for this purpose!

Old video, but I'm pretty sure the VSS and/or ABS pump needs to be flushed/bled also... and what's the BUDS step for exactly (Edit: Ok it's apparently able to force the ABS pump to cycle on demand so as to flush old fluid out of it)?

Does the spyder need to be running to do this procedure?
