Levi is lame due to a phosphorus overdose contracted by his breeder. I’m so sorry but I don’t recommend them. I highly recommend Sun Goldens in Wisconsin, Monark in Florida, and Ethos in Tennessee.

Are female goldens a bad candidate to be a service dog? Im nervous because i wanted a female but didnt realize she would be more difficult

That's just generally! I know of many, many great teams with a female golden. There are always exceptions to the general rule. With one in ten dogs having the potential to be a service dog, it would be expected! Please don't let the generalities sway you. If you find she has what it takes then go for it.

this makes me so happy, i'm happy-weepy. i have moderate/severe mecfs & pots and am mostly housebound and it feels vulnerable for someone who used to be strong and able-bodied. i'm so glad i found your channel - thank you for sharing. the fact that you could train levi even with your energy limitations gives me hope. (not sure i'd be nearly as awesome of a trainer as you though)

Do you believe there should be better service dog regulation? It seems nowadays people are bringing non service dogs into establishments. I wonder, if a dog bites someone inside a store and the dog is found to be not a service animal and no one checked could that business be held liable?

That's a good point. I admire people who speak out about these things in that they are tough problems that require creative solutions. I just wish legislators would aim to improve the public and law encforcement's foggy perception of service dog laws.

Hey, I enjoyed your video about Levi and your process of getting him and what he does for you, I'm looking for a prospect for my PTSD, I've looked and looked for a breeder, but can't find one that really fits with me, would you be able to tell me the breeder you got Levi from, I live in Florida so distance isn't a problem, I'm just afraid to get a puppy from the wrong breeder.

I would prefer you did not buy from Levi's breeder as he had elbow and knee surgeries that cost me over 10k to correct. I would however recommend Lakewood Goldens in central Florida and Sun Goldens in Wisconsin.
