Just face mask and not respirator for cleaning mould?? You're a braver man than I am. Mould spores can be deadly. Great work on this rescue operation.

Thank you so much for your concerns about my health, it’s very kind of you. 😊🙏🏻 I know about all possible dangers of mould - especially because I am allegric to mould since I was a little boy; it causes me a really nasty and unstoppable cough which does not go away until I take the medicines. Unfortunately at that time I was unable to source anything decent at a reasonable and affordable price, that’s why I approached it so carefully - to not blow away everything everywhere, also not to soak all fabrics in a car which is already damp. I did not have any issues afterwards, I’m still healthy and alive. 😊 I am extremely grateful for your appreciation of my work, I hope you’ll be enjoying my other videos too! 🤩🙏🏻

Thank you very much for your kind words Muzfuz 57, it’s very kind of you! 🤩🙏🏻 It might sound surprising, but I don’t have the tools (basically any tools) to take the seat out. I am not a full time professional detailer - this is only my hobby and passion. I am a full time bus driver and doing detailing for friends for free, on their cars, when I have some free time (which I don’t get much). My wife and I started to do these videos with very little budget and tools/equipment, just for fun, as we enjoy the whole process of making the videos - to create that kind of long content that I always wanted to watch, but couldn’t find anywhere at that time back, when we started. We are still in the process of getting most of the detailing equipment that I need - which is quite slow, unfortunately. But we will get there! 😊🙏🏻

What about the mould in the vent system? It gets blown to your face right away when you turn on the vent... So nice work, but its only halfway done.
@HypnotizinDetailz3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Denis, I’ve done everything that was possible to me at that timeframe, that’s why I’ve used the steam in the vents and the air con cleaner spray to kill the remaining bacteries, viruses and fungi. 😊👍🏻

My mart will gain mould inside a week in winter, it is the material they use.
@HypnotizinDetailz3 ай бұрын
@@GWAYGWAY1 - Buy some car dehumifidiers, there are hanging smaller ones or bigger bags too, they are basically big silica bags - they will definitely help. Probably you have a water leak somewhere, like around the door seals or window seals. I hope it helps. 😊
@GWAYGWAY13 жыл бұрын
Mine goes like that even when being used, it gets a green mould on the fabric trim. Type of material maybe.
@HypnotizinDetailz3 жыл бұрын
It could be water leaking somewhere into the interior... that’s why the mould can thrive inside. You could check the window seals Graham, most likely that’s where the water can leak in making the interior damp. Thanks very much for watching! 🤩🙏🏻
@GWAYGWAY13 жыл бұрын
@@HypnotizinDetailz No leaks it is just ambient dampness and the poor thing standing whilst we are locked down, with a inability to drive about. My other car has no problem as it has trim that is mostly hard plastic. My carpets are dry but the dash cloth is mouldy. The seat are ok but they are the new model seats not a mk 3.

Agreed, you need proper mould killer and if possible remove and soak the seatbelts overnight in a bucket of solution, cus the mould will keep coming back till you've killed it.
