Do you think this changes their normal behaviour? Like when they communicate or if they need to flee a fire or predator? I don't know a lot about bee keeping, I just love bees.

I don't think this changes their normal behavior. Bees don't flee predators, they fight them as much as they can. Queen can not leave the colony. I don't see any negative effects.

You might accidentally singe the bee though, heat is pretty dangerous

When a new queen is spotted, is it from the same colony or is it from another that kicks the last queen bee out? If it's from the same colony then how is the process into a queen made? Does the old queen have to die for the new queen to start taking form? (Does she grow into a big orange bee after awhile? Or how does one bee metamorphose into a queen?)

If the colony has a queen then the colony will not accept the queen from a different colony. Bees will kill the foreign queen. When bees feel that their queen is too old, they will create new queen cells and raise a new queen. After the new hatches she will kill the old queen. This is how bee colonies replace old queens.
