I got this issue just for the yellow roses. February will mark five years since my mother's death. When she was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2010, I gave her yellow roses on her first day of chemo. She loved yellow. I believe it is the color for that type of cancer. She painted some wall decor roses yellow as a reminder to keep striving. I will use them in my journal to remember the anniversary of her passing.

Woman's World is a great magazine to use with journaling. It always has uplifting photos and stories and words that you can stick somewhere. And it's affordable too which is the best part!

We got my Mom a Grandpad. It’s a tablet! We video chat and send pictures to her. Then we got one for my MIL for Christmas so the extended family can do the same with her. And you are NEVER boring!

I was very excited to get my first issue of Real Simple and it was this one! I torn out a lot of the same stuff and more haha I actually ended up ripping the magazine I half so I could get out that full 2 page picture you took out. Big images like that I may use in my art journals, send to pen pals or make other paper crafts with them; they are lovely. Idk if Amazon still has the same price, but I got a 1 year subscription for $5!
