why not use blackmagic wide gamut gen4/5 for input color space instead? doing so it's already saturated from the start and I guess then you won't need to boost the saturation from the start

You are right

@@ShugoAkatsuka Thanks, but I used your color grading method instead. Please check out my first blackmagic footage from the past summer and give me your feedback, Shugo! kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5evl4ihq9eKfLs

So this is an alternative way to saturate footage. Try both and use whichever the method you prefer

Hey, great video! Have 2 questions: - what were the settings you shot the clips on? Was it 6k BRAW or ProRes 422, etc? - The color space transform settings you used in the video are for a BMPCC 6k pro, so will that be the exact same settings for a standard BMPCC 6k also? Thanks and again a great and easy to follow video!!

Hey thanks for your comment! 1. They were shot in BRAW 2. Most probably the same for 6K

Do you know reason why my 6kpro footage braw comes out pretty faded or hazey when uploaded to davinci? Like when I do the first step it looks way more faded than your example still so it’s hard to judge the saturation.
@ShugoAkatsuka7 ай бұрын
That maybe is because of how you exposure your shots. Try to either overexpose and underexpose and see which works better for you
