Anytime I get compliments on my makeup, I usually tell them I watch a lot of YT - and these are techniques I would definitely use for a night out. Where I work they actually have a “ code “ on how to wear cosmetics. Gotta keep it “ toned down “ . But where I work I need to look a certain way, ( yeah I raise the “ bar “ a bit , but I like looking decent.) Even though I’m a “ winter “ type of girl , I still love keeping it a little “ glowy “ . I love when you do these videos (even though I don't wear much make up anymore) but I remember being really into makeup years ago and I wanted to learn to contour and highlight so I looked up videos and yours was the first one I watched that helped me soooo much! You had your hair pulled back in a low ponytail and I believe it was in your bedroom with a rack of clothes behind you. And that's how I discovered your channel! I love you so much! Mine too 😂 it’s so bad it’s funny 😆 I make sure to only lightly dust under my eyes otherwise my concealer creases, but that’s it. Sometimes I put a little bit of Stay Matte by Rimmel on my cheeks but that just because I like how smooth it makes my skin look. Carli, you do a fantastic contour! You are a great make up artist! I love watching you create fantastic make up looks. I wish I had your talent but honestly contouring takes too much time. My family always complains about how late I am when I need to be some where because I try to get my make up just perfect. Applying my make up takes me a lot of time as is so as much as contouring enhances the look I just don’t have time. You spend quite a bit of time on the nose. Honestly you do not need it . Your forehead is not too big either. The last thing I need is another step to my make up application but I enjoy watching your contouring routine. You do it beautifully. Kylie cosmetics concealer in Himalaya is great to color correct any grey/blue/purple tones! I also use the color maple on top but you can use what ever concealer you like on top of the Himalaya. I love shape tape but medium and light medium does leave a grey cast no matter how much I put on.

Ahh you look so gorgeous 😍 watching this I kept thinking, “Oh, another layer of powder..” Powder is amazing with blurring, but if I were to do each of your steps, I’m afraid my skin is too dry. I have SUCH dry skin, and I literally live in a dessert 😂. If I use too many powdered products, after an hour my makeup starts to look terrible on my skin. I’m going to try this cream contour method, but I’ll probably have to leave out most of the powder ones 😘
