This was SO helpful! I’ve been fat since the first day my mom let me play in her makeup when I was 13 and it’s been an uphill battle ever since just trying to do makeup to suit my face shape! I’ve especially always struggled with how to contour- or if I even COULD since I felt like my bones were too buried to contour in the first place, but now I actually feel excited and hopeful to give it another try! I’m always struggling to find a contour product that works well for me. And get mad cause they aren’t cheap and I have a collection now. You are so smart to use the foundation stick. Our face shapes are _completely_ different - mine is long and narrow, combined with a short, thick, almost non-existent neck, making properly contouring my cheekbones and jawline an nigh-impossible requirement. I find that taking the contour down my neck helps as well. I fade it down the neck so it eliminates the line under the chin. This was a great video with great explanations. Thank you!

thank you so much ! NYX cosmetics has a primer that is called pore filler. and it works so nicely . you just press it in to the area where you have larger pores. just make sure you wash and exfoliate and moisturize before apply in and your makeup. because without doing so can cause the product to get crumbly.

I'm not sure if it's the color or maybe too much product, but I noticed after your final look, when you would turn your cheek in certain lighting it looks like you have a bruise on your cheek? Or it may be just from blending or the powder catching in certain spots. Something to keep in mind 😊

How do you avoid the noticeable contrast in colour when you contour your neck? I always have trouble with that. Contouring with a dark shade on the neck and then the rest of my lower neck area is the same colour as my face. Love this tutorial!
