Write test cases for an app that uploads files from a remote machine to the cloud. Write a test case to validate an API for which the input is a URL to an HTML webpage. What testing approach would you adopt for a smartphone that turns off when the alarm rings? Write smoke tests for the given situation: There are three modules with a fundamental defect in one of the modules. Module 3 gets its input from Module 1 and 2. How would you identify and report defects?

there is no specific question bank that is followed during Amazon's interview and it completely depends on the Interviewer. I can share a related question and it was : In share market, I can buy and sell 1 quantity of a given share. Come up with a solution where one can achieve maximum profit.

You can use all the 3 mediums to apply for job at Amazon. However, if you apply through Amazon Employee referral then you will have a better follow-up on the interview process and results. Amazon employee can let you know if your resume is being considered by HR for interview or not!

Can you please clarify by default they conduct all rounds i.,e 4-5 even thou we dont perform well in 2nd or 3rd round or once we select 2nd round then move to 3rd round like tht

Usually the first telephonic / video call is the screening round, post which 4-5 rounds are conducted. However if your first 2 rounds out of 4 have gone pathetic and interviewers share this feedback with Hiring Manager(HM)/HR then you may get a disqualification notification from HR based on HM inputs. However usually they conduct all the 4-5 rounds post your first phone/video call screening round and a Hire / No Hire decision is made based on the de-brief meeting conducted post all interview rounds.

Hi Pagadala, Tosco automation tool seems to have a good future and its good to have your expertise on it. However I will suggest not to confine yourself to any specific tool rather. At Amazon, they usually promote in-house tools. Cracking Interview at Amazon will depend on your Technical expertise, testing skills and how best you would have utilised Tosco or any other tool in past for your Software testing needs.

If you are able to clear interview means the Interviewers are sure that you will be able to perform. It's up to you to be on top of things, learn what you don't know and perform. There are trainings available to up skill you and can be attended post Manager's approval!
