How I Cracked SBI PO 2021-2022 | Strategy to crack it this year….

I request the channel owner to pin this comment because I believe this advice will really help many aspirants. I am one of those guys who cleared sbi po 2021 in first attempt. The most underrated advice is to improve your English language skills. For sbi po and I mean this for sbi po only, English is the most important subject. No it is not quant. No it is not reasoning. It is ENGLISH. I feel as if no one is stressing on it enough. Just understand the direct and indirect importance revolving around English. Apart from the 40 marks, you have a whole bloody 50 marks that you can score from descriptive. And no it is a myth that you can score only so much or minimal marks in descriptive. I'm pretty sure I scored around 40 in this section. Also, once you clear the mains, even in interview, honestly I feel as if they are giving maximum weightage to your communication skills and if you are presenting yourself too good in English, you score many browny points. I scored 48/50, my entire interview revolved around my personality, family, hobbies, personal interests and a little bit of current affairs. I feel they are testing people on various areas to evaluate them. If you are not good at projecting yourself properly or have poor communication skills, then they see what you are good at by testing your banking knowledge, subject knowledge etc. But the foremost thing they are looking for is your interpersonal skills. If you rock in that area, your interview will revolve mostly around personality related questions only. So once again, keep this in mind, if you want to clear SBI Po, get good at English. That is it. Even if you score 20-25+ cutoff marks in mains, there is a high chance that you will be given poor marks in interview because you could not present yourself in English properly. Yes I'm aware that they give the option to conduct the interview in Hindi also, but guys I've researched a lot and came to the conclusion that they prefer a person with good english speaking skills. So practice your speaking, writing, reading, give months and months of efforts to English. You have a lot of time left for SBI po. Focus a lot on English and I am sure you will clear sbi po 2022. And please again if your main aim is sbi po , don't waste your time preparing for current affairs rigorously. Just go through last 3 months and that is enough because CA is unpredictable and highly challenging these days. Even people who study religiously for this section are getting stumped. So please give most importance to English, then get your basics right with quant and reasoning. This is enough for sbi po. If anyone has anymore doubts, feel free to reply to me. 👍👍

@@SALONISingh- This is a very common problem and I believe even I had issues with communication. The only way to conquer this is SPEAK! You don't have to speak with your friends, family if you think they will make you feel embarassed, you just have to speak to yourself. It can be any time of the day. You can do this while you are taking a shower, while going on a drive, while standing in a que(don't talk loud 🤣). One more thing, ever realise why you can speak very fluently in your mother tongue but stutter a lot in English? It's not because you don't know grammar or don't have good vocabulary. I mean look at western people, they don't think about grammar, they just talk. Though when it comes to us, read this carefully, what we subconsciously do is we first think about the sentence that we are going to say in our mother tongue, try to translate that in English, and then start speaking. This is the reason why we stutter. We can write heaps of sentences but cannot utter two sentences without stuttering to save our lives 😂. This is why you should cultivate the habit of speaking in English without thinking. I mean this might sound odd and strange but it's true. And this habit/skill as I said will only be honed when you speak daily. Just think about something and start speaking about it in English, you might see that you sound ridiculous, but you tried and then find better ways to frame that particular sentence. Do this for months and you will be very satisfied with your improvement.

Well said brother. I too have cleared the SBI PO 2021 examination in my very first attempt and my success can be largely pin pointed out to being proficient in English. I had attempted 76 questions in mains and out of that 26 were in English section. I was able to attempt a paltry 14 questions in reasoning and no better 16 questions in quants . Though I had attempted 20 questions in GA but after I reached home and tried to Google search them I found that 6- 7 were straightforward WRONG. I was not even expecting to clear the mains but when the mains result came I was pleasantly surprised and to take it a notch further when the final result I was literally SHOCKED to see my mains score was 114. I guess I scored more than 40+ marks in descriptive and probably that's what made me taste this sweet success.

@@nikitasharma431 affairs cloud and adda mock test series are the only subscription I have ever taken for banking exams.....IF you are strong with your quants basic( for example....if you have studied diligently till your 10 standard and had solved the curriculum book ie RS Agrawal at that time, you don't need to buy any paid subscription as free youtube playlists are enough for brushing up your basics.....all that is left to do is practice practice practice.) Similarly for english if you are well versed with English till standard 10 from cbse you don't need any paid course....

I dont do any preparation for english still i get 25+ but even after doing so much in rest two subjects i couldn't clear pre. Some people have good hold on English some on maths and reasoning. So one strategy can't apply on everyone.

I like how you took quant and reasoning studies simple and stupid yet rigorous, most of us try to make it complex and then become frustrated Personally I have also observed that when I watch a web series in English(for me it was Friends) it gives a deeper understand of how this language is uttered and I can relate the understand in the editorials, sometimes it helps in deciphering the ironic or sarcastic editorial which are printed on the bottom of the editorial page

Before mains i gave full time to current affairs and didn't study quants, reasoning, english and descriptive for mains.. only gave few mocks half heartedly as my focus was on CA. My interview was not that bad but i was unfortunate i needed 43 but got 32 general. Mehnat tabhi kaam aata hai jab upar wale ka haath apke sir par ho..

The easiest way is following Gaurav Garg study iq current affairs paid videos. Trust me, he is the best. After watching his videos you can read affairscloud monthly pdfs. Thats it.

Same maine 1st time diya tha 2020 m missed by 1 marks pre 30 days prepare kra tha, aur rha b es wjh se tha simultaneously state teaching exam tha 2 days before sbi..aur wo clear ho gya pr sbi rh gya.1 more thing common I am also lie in under ews category. 2nd attempt 2021, I was overconfident so I gave less mock for pre and just focused on mains therefore couldn't able to clear it again. 3rd attempt now in 2022 & I am in dilemma whether I should fill it or not.

I don't think that's the case.. you'll have to be good at other subjects as well.. at least average..I scored 30 in English and 19.75 in Descriptive.. still didn't get the job missed the final cut off by 1.47 So imo each and every subject is important for getting the final selection!

i just want to know why ibps interview is completely different wrt to sbi, i had a great experience with the panel ,infact many of the questions were related to hobby and intrest,and few typical educ background....i answered them all and to the best of my knowledge!! even they looked satisfied and impressed i expeted 80 plus..but they rewarded only 74-75 marks,while some other cands gets 80-88 with decent int...due to this i fell short by 1.3 marks !!
