What is TANCET?
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, abbreviated as TANCET, is an admission test conducted to fill PG seats, across courses, in colleges of Tamil Nadu. Anna University conducts the state-level entrance exam for various PG courses including MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME, MBA and MCA programmes. More than 200 colleges situated in Tamil Nadu accept TANCET scores for admission. Every year, more than 40,000 MBA aspirants appear for the TANCET to compete for more than 15,000 seats offered by several institutes of Tamil Nadu. TANCET, conducted in an offline mode, comprises 100 objective type questions to be answered within two hours. DTE, Tamil Nadu administers the TANCET counselling for MBA admission of qualified candidates. Course wise eligibility criteria to appear for TANCET 2023 is as follows:
TANCET 2023 MBA Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree with a 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for reserved categories) marks a candidate eligible. Candidates are eligible if they have completed education in any of the following patterns:
10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years pattern
10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern
10 + 2 + B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm.
10 + 2 + AMIE
10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE

If you answered 4 questions wrongly, 1 mark will be deducted.

No ma. For example if you have a total of 10 questions in which you answered only 8 and unanswered 2. Among these 8 questions only if 5 are correct and 3 incorrect means you will get a total score of 4. For correct answers you score 5 marks since you made 3 wrong answers (0.33*3=1 approximately) 1 mark reduced from 5 so your total will be 4. Unanswered questions make no changes.

Raw score 60/100 irundave 99 percentile mela varum. Don't attend all the questions because negative mark iruku.
