I’ve been journaling “I remember when” statements a lot lately and I love this idea of memories. I realized lately that I had been remembering my SP all wrong. He has been pouring love into every text message and moment and I have just been perceiving and remembering it all wrong! I almost feel a little guilty for not seeing him as the utterly loving being that he is and has always been. I’ve also remembered myself all wrong too. I have ALWAYS been a woman who is loved and cherished. What a joy to be so loved and to have so much love to give! ❤

I’ll say to myself “What’s a past?” 😂 The past doesn’t exist but we can definitely recreate it to make it “seem” so. It’s like respawning every moment according to our assumptions and bringing that baggage into the present moment. The gag is, you don’t need the baggage. yesss tom thank you for this reminder! 🙏🏻 I used to always use this technique when I was younger to overcome imposter syndrome and it allowed things to effortlessly manifest for me, from relationships to jobs in industries I was brand new to. Hey Tom, I’m new to your channel. Thank you so much for the videos- truly amazing work. I just have one question… I am 23 years old and in recovery at 2.5 years clean. I no longer think about drink or drugs, but as part of the recovery process I have to do the 12 steps, which involves doing a moral inventory of myself and my “past”. I’m sure you can see my hesitation in revisiting a past that contradicts the one I am choosing today. So my question is: what do you suggest for people who, like me, are on any type of healing journey which typically involves going back over one’s past?
