We call that huille de maskreti. It's very good. My mom used to rub it on my scalp and hair. It smells funny but makes the hair grow very thick, strong and long. I'm so happy everyone is discovering Haitian beauty secrets. We also take cod liver oil daily. I use Carlsson lemon flavor cod liver oil internally. This brand is very high quality. Take 1 tsp daily. It is very high not only in omega 3 essential fatty acid but also vit D3, the absorbable kind. Not only will your hair and skin thank you, but your heart, nervous system, brain and just about everything else will thank you too.

+Style Domination Hey.... an easier way to heat up your oils is to just put the applicator in a cup of boiling hot water and you don't have to go through the whole double boiler business.

your hair is beautiful, the reason why the Haitian black castor oil is so thin is because it is basically a watered down version of the Jamaican black castor oil which is more concentrated. what i usually do is mix the JBCO with some EVOO

I also use an oil treatment that has been very beneficial. I mix 1 TB each of pure, organic: Aloe vera gel; jamaican black castor oil; olive oil, coconut oil, vitamin E oil, almond oil. I apply this mixture to my hair and scalp and massage. Then cover with a plastic cap and leave on overnight. Then wash and deep condition in the morning.

I noticed that stickyness you were talking about it certain castor oils too. I thought it was just me 'cause I'm very often the oddball when it comes to noticing certain details with certain things. That saran (rather than bags) is a *fantastically* practical idea. I'd TOTALLY do that if my laziness didn't override the aggravation I get from the crinkling plastic. I LOVE the volume you get with your results, without a lot of heavy greasiness. 19:20 lol, welcome aboard. You just wait...... (evillaugh.Evillaugh.EVILLAUGH). Although in my defense, mine kicked in after a stint in the hospital. But realtalk tho'.... You'd gonna rock the HELL outta some salt&pepper. You'll be the REAL "Silver Fox" ;) PS: I'm gonna need you to tone down that gorgeousness in these videos so I can hear what you're saying :P Please&ThankYa.

+ToughLoveTV OMG. You made my day. LOLOLOL! Ok - the cling wrap = the STRUGGLE!! I got lucky that time as it actually cooperated. LOL! Yeah - I found the Jamaican Castor Oil just a little too sticky for my taste. It also smelled weird...like meat or something. The HBCO smells a little strange, but not nearly as bad. As for the silver foxy time, I'm actually considering it! My aunt is salt and pepper and she foy-nnnne!!! LOL! Gorgeous woman, she is!! Hello, I love your channel and hair tips. You are stunning! I have a few questions because I would like to incorporate this into my routine. First, did you wash your hair first and then add the oil mixture? Two, after the hour did you wash the oils out? Three, if you did washed the oils out did you use shampoo or just water? Four, after you washed it out did you use a conditioner? Five, which oil did you use before flat iron? Six, did you use a heat protectant before flat iron? If so, which one? I’m so sorry for all of the questions. I’m struggling with dryness and want to make sure I fully understand before I try this. I’ll share my results so you would know how it worked out for me.

Hi, loved the video, you're so effortlessly pretty! Just wondering- Do you flat iron your hair after every deep condition?
@StyleDomination8 жыл бұрын
Hi Adanna! Thank you! What a compliment! In the summer, I'll deep condition and sometimes just put it in a bun after washing. Sometimes, I'll air dry it then add some oils, twist the hair into knots and let it dry for a curly/wavy effect. Usually in the winter though, I'll flat iron (on low heat) after each washing.

This looks great, but why would you put conditioner directly to the scalp? Just wondering..thanks for the video. I am willing to try this soon! Did you use Advocado oil? Your description box read "featured oil."
@StyleDomination8 жыл бұрын
+marian B Hi Marian! Thanks for your comment. In this particular instance, I put the conditioner mixture directly on my scalp because it had the Haitian black castor oil (HBCO) in it. HBCO stimulates the scalp promoting hair growth. Normally, I would only work deep conditioner into my roots when I need a relaxer to help detangle the regrowth. I hope that helps! xo

Hey do you normally wash your hair before this? and would you recommend doing this more than once a month?
@StyleDomination5 жыл бұрын
bajanalpha4 Hi! I wash my hair, towel dry it, then add the oils. I leave them on for an hour, then wash out. I’ll add a little of my fave detangling conditioner to my hair to make combing out easier. I then proceed with drying and styling my hair. If you have coarse hair, sure! More than once a month is good (2x a month is great). Fine hair? I think it would be too heavy.
