Love your vids and I’ve literally been binge watching after the initial Z50 review and Deeper dive (Z50). Love your content and the anti-diva/Gear approach you take. First channel I’ve actually stumbled upon that has “Substance” as you the Art and passion of photography. I’ll be subscribing and donating regularly as this is a new journey for me that I will be pushing all chips in on. Currently familiarizing myself in the Z50 body. What aspect ratio do you upload on your pictures? Most camera sensors are a 3:2 ratio. If the client wants a 5x7 or 8x10 you or they will have to crop it. I always leave extra room all the way around for cropping for print size. Does the client do this after they download the pictures and order from whoever they buy the photos from or dies shootproof have a way for them to select what size print they want to download?

Hey question: I follow your guide for autofocus with the Nikon Z6 a video you made 9 months ago but I’m having issues. I want to be the one in front of the camera but after I click record it won’t just focus. It just stays focusing who knows where. I changed all the settings you mentioned on that video. If I am at the back of the camera and hit the shutter button it focuses , but if I’m the one in front of it, making a KZbin video, it won’t focus at all.

Do you have any issues with your Z6 audio? I have a rode video mic so not using internal and it’s horrible. Always have to correct it in post. Any advise? Would love to know your settings.

Excellent Will. Your videos like this are very helpful to new pro photographers who need help getting started with their business. It’s great for those people to get help from successful pros like Sara and yourself. By the way, about 12 years ago I did the same thing with my hair that you just did. I tried to give myself a haircut and I totally butchered my hair bro! I had to shave it all off! As you said, the good thing is it grows back quickly. I have looked hard at Shootproof. I like it. I like how you send your clients a link to their own private album, instead of a link to one of your galleries on your website. Hope you are doing well! I have a question! Is 5 batteries enough for a full day wedding shoot with 2 nikon z6 body! Bringing charger also to charge battery in between! Only taking photos! And using only viewfinder and not the screen!

Personally, for an 8 to 10 hour wedding I'll use two batteries with my Z6. I have four batteries total but never needed more than two.

Hi there, just for your info, I use pixieset and it looks a lot like shootproof in this video. I don't sell prints, so maybe there are some differences there. Pixieset also looks very professional, my clients really like it.

They are an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) that works with Wells Fargo for money transactions. There is commission in there somewhere, but I assume this is within what is considered appropriate in US codes of business conduct. >Question mark.< Shootproof's Terms and Conditions: "you hereby grant to ShootProof a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, copy, store, modify, distribute, publish, and process the Content that you provide through the Services solely for purposes of providing or improving the Services (including vendor order fulfillment services). You acknowledge and agree that your relationship with ShootProof is not a confidential, fiduciary, or other type of special relationship, and that your decision to submit any Content does not place ShootProof in a position that is any different from the position held by members of the general public." >RED FLAG< In here "providing the services" might just refer to their hosting service making your photos available to me as viewer in Europe (but then, it may imply more). The "improving" the services has no boundaries. The phrasing that you as photographer who owns the copyright grant Shootproof a "non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, copy, store, modify, distribute, publish, and process" your images is a red flag. If a hosting service provider needs your consent to host your content and make it accessible to viewers that received your (photographer's) authorization only, then this phrase is so wide and open to debate that a) they claim way too many of photographer's rights, and their lawyers have done a very stupid job, b) the photographer does not stand a chance in court, c) photographers have not been able to organize in a way that protects them and their work better in the past 100 years, so photographers for photographers may be part of the problem, especially when they start hiring lawyers. That all said, these Ts&Cs are the best I have seen so far, compared with other hosting parties. For those abroad to Georgia, USA: Georgia law applies and some international treaties have explicitly been excluded. This may present a huge complication. Serious problem w.r.t. the red flag text above is that the Ts & Cs hold no clear definition of "The Services". If this organization of nice photographers wants to follow up on their intentions as advertised, then they really need to change this.
