Masterpiece model 🎉 And I do have built it! Such a great building experience + wow effect once completed ! I loved your "making off" videos, and now that I've seen all these design details I understand how much you take care about everything . Would love to see a new version for your 2CV ! 1:15 scale is perfect for me 👌

The original Citroen is a beautiful car and that is a masterful lego design! Great choice and challenge! The video is complete and very insightful too. Congrats

@Nico71Fr Жыл бұрын
@edgarpoe8564 Жыл бұрын
@Nico71Fr Жыл бұрын
@edgarpoe8564 Жыл бұрын

this car, in the latest releases recieved the first hidropneumatic suspensión from citroen, I would love to see you make a Citroen Xantia Activa, the pinnacle of citroen's hidroActive suspension. Great model! love to two of my favourite things combined (citroen and lego)
@Nico71Fr Жыл бұрын
Yes the Xantia is interesting, unfortunately it is not very easy to reproduce because the design is a bit mundane so it will be hard to make it recognizable in LEGO because of the scale down from other sedan car from the 90-00'

The model looks awesome. What you got out of these technic bricks is astounding! I especially like the grill- very nice angles and super smooth details! Another thing worth mentioning is the construction using 1/2 stud offset. It's a very tricky thing to do- and you nailed it!

Do you work for LEGO? If not, they're missing out.
@martingarrish4082 Жыл бұрын
Really like the LEGO Traction. For me the most innovative Citroen was the GS and GSA models with flat 4 engine, hydropneumatic suspension, & aerodynamics before it was the norm. I can't imagine getting those headlights right would be easy in LEGO though.

Yes Citroën was truly a innovative brand before, not fan of the recent production

An AMAZING model! I love the blend of technical accuracy (FWD) and detailed bodywork. One question: why do you refer to the car as “Citroën Traction” and not “Citroën Traction Avant” when “traction avant” means “front propulsion” (i.e., front-wheel drive)?
@Nico71Fr Жыл бұрын
Thanks ! Traction Avant is a pleonasm here in France, as the traction is defined later as the front wheel drive. In France we can say only Citroen Traction when the place is counted (which is here in the title of the video). Of course both are valid but do not bring many any additional value to say the complete name.

@@Nico71Fr Strange. So when a car has rear wheel drive or all wheel drive you don’t call that traction? As traction literally means “drive”.
@edgarpoe8564 Жыл бұрын
@@caskraker no in France the term "traction" is synonymous with "to tow" for the rear driving wheels we speak of "propulsion" which corresponds to "to push"
@Nico71Fr Жыл бұрын
Rear wheel drive is propulsion in french, and front wheel drive is traction. We just skip (sometime) the "Avant" name in the Citroen Traction because the traction is obviously a front wheel drive, so no need to put again avant (front).
