My fav look was using black liquid liner (not matte) and using it ALL over my lid.. so you couldn't see my eyelid.. major raccoon eyes. Also caked on neutrogena acne foundation. LOVE!

Ohmyworddddd, this is SO recognisable, did the same with the foundation, completely the wrong colour. Frizzy hair, loads of lipgloss that was way too bright for me and only eyeliner on the bottom part of my eyes .... let's not talk about 'fashion'

I didn't wear much make up until I was already out of school. But I used to wear a pink lipbalm with a pearl effect (bebe young care pearl lipstick) and applied so many layers of it that my lips were really pearly pink. Sorta like yours in the video, but even more silvery pearly. I also had a white pearly lipstick which was equally abused. xD Also, later I found a gold shimmer lipstick ... you can guess the rest.

Still make eyeliner mistakes a lot...but back in high school I would play around with a black eyeliner pencil. Top lid, smudged out; or waterline, smudged out. Very occasionally both lids, but not always. I would have panda eyes by lunchtime. Also very rarely was some eyeshadow, but that was out of laziness. Other days it was some smacks of Coty loose powder since I liked the fragrance. I was 15-16...that was about the time I started watching Bubz and Michelle, but trying not to cave in to makeup bc I thought I could stay a tomboy forever. The first time I did a proper full makeup myself was my first prom. Nothing regrettable really, except for not embracing makeup more fully instead of being all shy about it. Now my favorite makeup item is lip color. :P

I love this looks so much! It reminds me of the past when nearly all the makeup books teaching "paint eyeshadows on the whole eyelids ". The lovely good old days... The most silly thing I did for makeup in the past is: same layering eyeshadow on both eyes (which normally should be mirrored). For example, left eye: gold for outside and green for inside, while right eye: gold for inside and green for outside.

Riachanai lining the water line with black eye liner was a very big thing in the 2000s. I'm not sure why but everyone did it. Even more so the eyeliners that would smudge hours later and give you racoon eyes.

I think my biggest beauty misstake back then was the superthin 90's eyebrows. Thank God they grew back again! I used to fill them in with a brown eyebrow pencil from H&M and smudge the lines with the brush on the cap so they looked really smudgy and dirty. yourbffjenn contouring is not over contouring if it's done correctly, brows are not ridiculous if they're done correctly and eye make up is not too much if blended seamlessly. It's called skill. I used to only put foundation on, no concealer, no powder, no base like lotion or anything, just right on there. I used a dark purple eyeshadow for my eyeliner and maybelline great lash mascara. my most unforgivable look was heavy on black eyeliner, and not blending my eyeshadows. I would do on hard sweep of brown on my lower lid, then another hard sweep of blue on top of it. You could so clearly see the lines of where the brown started and the blue started. Mind you, I had some access to make up tutorials back then because I remember youtube coming out before high school. I just was still trying to get the hang of using makeup.

In high school (& for the most part - my entire life except for some random days) - I only put on eye shadow & lip gloss. So I'd use one of those H.i.P eyeliner crayons as eye shadow because the colors were vibrant, shimmery, & could last all day. If I were to wear lip gloss then it'd be the mint infused lip gloss from Bath & Body Works.
