As a child, Janet's family moved from a middle class estate to the village. This move which was not explained to her was traumatic for her and her siblings. When they moved back to the city, they found themselves in a low income area which was warm and welcoming. She found her academic footing and went to graduate as a doctor amidst plenty of challenges facing the family.
Dr. Githinji more popularly known as Daktari wa Mtaa speaks about her childhood, education and journey to finding purpose. Where you come from does not determine how far you can go.
