Nail/Acrylic steps 1-dip fingers in warm water for 5 minutes 2-push back cuticles 3-cut extra cuticle skin 4-file nails 5-buff the surface of nails 6-pick out nail size (fake transparent nails) 7-Apply base(helps stick better) 8-Use UV Light to dry base coat(60 seconds) 9-put poly gel on the nail 10-dry poly gel in UV light 11- break the access where Poly gel isn’t applied 12- File access and edges 13- Use electric nail drill on top of the nail 14- Use another nail drill for cuticle edges 15- Buff the nails again 16- more base coat/top coat 17- dry nails Under UV light 18- Clean your nails with alcohol pads after done ✅ 19- Use cuticle oil to keep cuticles healthy! Hey girl, your nails turned out amazinggg😍😍😍 I have a little tip for you that I heard on onther polygel vids, that could save your time... you can actually put a mirror underneath your lamp so it cures your nails from both sides so you don’t have to cure them for 2 mins! I never did polygel nails myself but I definitely want to try it and thought it could be helpful. Keep up the good content...You go girl!!

I’m about to start with polygel too soon and have been watching lots of videos. I’ve seen people also use nail tips under a dual form to avoid having to file/drill underneath the nail if it comes out blotchy. I think this helps with the curing underneath issue too! This video was so good though I’m definitely going to have a go at these 😍✨🌸

I can’t speak for polygel (yet) but I’ve recently bought an LED lamp and some gel nail polish and it’s honestly a game changer. I also used to always do my nail polish and have never been to a salon to get my nails done, but my sister is a qualified nail tech and did my gels a couple times, since the pandemic she didn’t want to do nails anymore so I stopped getting gels with her and got my own kit to do at home, so worth it and such a great investment! My next investment will be polygel because I want to be able to do my own extensions 🙌🏼

a tip that i always do whenever i do my own nails is to do the thumbs last

diora by doing your thumbs last, you have a little more control and it’s way easier rather than doing your thumbs first and having to struggle trying to put the rest of the nails on

nevaeh gregory I know exactly what you mean, it STINKS. But no the poly gel it’s self has no smell but the slip slip solution or alcohol you use might be the only thing that smells. Even then it won’t stink up your whole house

use a dehydrator and a primer and they’ll last longer than many professional manicures if shaped properly (apex or c curve). i also suggest graduating to nail forms once you’re confident with dual forms!

@@denagustafson6070 dehydrator is sold in a bottle like a primer. some people can get by with using acetone as a dehydrator, but using a formulized dehydrator is better. dehydrating evaporates the natural oils in your nails that can prevent the product from sticking.

Try buffing your nails before you apply the polygel and it ll be better if you'll use a base coat. 🤗

Omg in Canada nails are $50-$100. Typically more in the $80 range. I need to get pro at using my left hand to do nails on my right hand (right hand dominant). Also, thats a good tip about the alcohol!
