How I DOMINATED a Town as a Solo Survivor in DayZ

In today's adventure, I got into some heavy pvp action in a southern town on Bitterroot while on a quest to wreak vengeance on two survivors who killed me earlier in my previous life. It ended up leading to a bunch of early-game action and engagements with other survivors, so I hope you all enjoy!

I'll keep workin on them! I do try to loot the mil bases on Bitterroot! I always find groups at Fort Hale, Bishop Outpost, and March Air Force base, but my experience has been pretty quiet at the other ones like Blackrock and Glasgow so far! I've been able to safely walk out of those with an Ak or m16 every time 👍

i just bought the game and im not sure which servers to play on, how do you go about deciding your server? or do you play official

Welcome to DayZ! I think the best way to learn the game is to play the official/vanilla experience first and then venture out into other maps and mods! I started with the Vanilla server called "Dusk" to learn the ropes. That server has no mods so it's basically just like official, but with more moderation for cheaters. After that, I tried a bit of official, then jumped into some other maps like Livonia, Bitterroot, PNW, and Namalsk! One of the hardest things to learn at first is how to find food and navigate the map. There are some videos on youtube about how to distinguish which town you spawn into on Chernarus (Check SourSweet's guide), and once you know what town you are in, you can use the map on izurvive to sort of get around. Once you've mastered navigating the map using izurvive and finding basic supplies/food, you're pretty much ready to take on any map! I've found Bitterroot to be my favorite map because of it's smaller size and the great amount of pvp action I can find. Hope you enjoy!
