My strat for not getting bored: Beat a new hard sc every 5 towers, with this you improve constantly and you also dont run out of content to play, only con of this is you are extremely limited with the towers that you want to do and with monthly challenges, any new tower that you have to beat can mess up your plans.

yknow what i just realized is that new players have the best experience because as a new player myself we have no idea about whats next as long we dont spoil ourselves ive unlocked zone 2 and ring 3 but ive got no idea whats in ring 4 to 9 or zone 3 to 8 i only have see the names and difficulties of the towers and the communities opinion on some of the more well known ones along with the first floor of todie and im excited for whats next

I don't know about you guys, but i ONLY PLAY FANGAMES, I just think that the effort of grinding through the trash in ring 2-6 isn't worth the reward of enjoying r7+ towers, so I play fangames, yes they have much less content but the content is really cool stuff like r8 or z4 towers, and there are a lot of towers, so if you are grinding r5 sadly just play a fangame and enjoy a good tower. I also sometimes play r8 towers in seperate places to enjoy them aswell.

You bring up a good point with not playing towers before release, Logan. I've noticed myself that I had much of a better time when zone 3 released when I had no clue of the inside of towers. I guess you could say ignorance is bliss.

There's no other game I see myself going to if I quit JToH, so even if I get somewhat bored, I keep going because if I quit it might be even more boring. It's really hard to find fun roblox games nowadays, I liked it better in 2016-2019 Edit: after watching the video, I really agree with not playing towers before release. Zone 5 is the first zone I had to make this decision with, since Ring 9's tower were not revealed, and Zone 4 I just didn't care enough to look into the confirmed towers. (And I was too busy doing other towers) I decided to play as little confirmed towers as possible. Right now, I've only played the entirety of ToSTS and ToAR, and I'm holding off grinding ToAR until zone 5 releases because I'm not a fan of grinding towers in separate places (it's lonely and no items, etc.) There are some exceptions, such as the new ToAM version of terrifying was going to come out and I actually did grind it before it got in game. But I think that's different because I already saw ToAM when ring 9 released, it just had a few changes in the revamp.

I just take a break, whether it be for a day or two, or weeks to a month. Even if you're in the middle of a grind, it helps. I was grinding ToYV for a while, took a break for a few weeks, and was suddenly much more consistent.

Another tip i could give you is trying to build a tower/obby yourself. Who knows, you might actually really get into building towers. Personally i really like to hop on Obby Creator from time to time to try building some fun obby or check out if there's anything good other people built. The only problem i have with Obby Creator is how part limit is only around 1000 parts unless you spend a lot of robux to make it bigger..,

I did CoCE in its own game twice and I probably won't get bored of it, it's so fun and my action will help me do it easily after. Playing nothing can lead you to be like forced to do it because the community says stuff like ''Wow, it's amazing'' and I know this gives you excitement which is the literal point, but like still you want to play it so badly and feel like you're missing out on a ton. i see your point here though. I probably won't play anything else in Zone 6. I'll just forget that i will get kind of worried when I haven't played it and the majority of the community has (The day that it releases) but that's still pretty rare. Fair point, bye.

How do I not get bored? Well its not something that everyone can do. I improve in a linear way, not exponentially unlike most players. I dont just suddenly get massive skill boosts, I grow slowly, but surely. I use to hate this, but now its a gift for me. I can still play a whole lot of things because I beat things slowly, but I still am skilled regardless. I have endurance so if I have a connection to a tower (no matter how hard it is) I can beat it (this is how i completed toso). TL;DR, I have linear skill growth, and endurance
