Hi Mark - this is a truly valuable video! My wife uses PhotoShop for her business, but only for minor photograph mods and neither of us had any idea how to use it for aircraft paint schemes. Just getting the very basics is immensely helpful. I look forward to Part 2. Thank you again for taking the time to share your skills.

I'm waiting for my CH 650 kit to arrive and thinking about paint. I'd love to do a TWA inspired theme, just don't know how to start.

I like the Thunderbird's scheme on the RV-7. That is the scheme I was going to paint but I sold the project before it was time to paint it.

Awesome video! Now I know how to come up with a paint scheme...the hideous thing I came up with in MS Paint won't work! A really cool bonus is that with the extra effort to do it well, you have a custom professional illustration of your plane to frame and hang on the hangar wall. (note to self; still need Paintshop Pro, plane...and hangar)

My plane is to finish the Mooney illustration and print it out and frame it. Who knows when I'll find the time to finish it though!

Hey Mark!! Thanks for doing this , guess you are not " just plane lazy " . this is really cool! Wondering how you determine the amount of paint, primer etc? Is there a rule of thumb? Thanks again for taking the time to do this. Blue Skies!!

I got an older copy of your "pre-shaded" Cruzer model from Aussie Scott, but the bubble glass doesn't extend to the bottom of the door frame. Would you be willing to share the "full glass door" edition?

At some point I will create an illustration of my Blue Angels Cruzer. The drawing you are referring to is just a basic drawing I made quickly just for designing schemes. Once I make the drawing of my Cruzer, I'll delete all the paint scheme layers and post a new template for everyone to use.

Mark , the scheme I'm considering involves fading one color into the next , does this program have the ability to do that?

Yes.

i'm going to turn your character planes into flying RC airplanes.
