i'm a new artist who's trying to learn how to make heads. i've gone through various tutorials about identifying the mask and doing the skull , but yours is so simply ,clean and easy. Should i just do it the way you do it? You individualize the mask immedialty. i don't like making so many lines and being confused on where the masks starts or ends.

It's great to experiment with what makes sense for you, and if starting with the mask is helpful then go for it (as long as you're still considering relative placement/proportion on the face)! It's personally helped me a lot to just understand what the mask represents (brow bone/ eyesocket/ nose arch) because I can see how forms wrap around better
