Karanji, I know you are a company driver. I was an Owner Operator. Heated windshields are the best for your province. Ask your company to install them in their trucks. Works better in the winter with no snow accumulation...! All the best. SSA. I am from India as well. At time 15.18, I saw you tap your headlights as ice had formed. I suggest you carry an mix of ether and water in a spray can (alchohol or rain-X) and spray it on your windshield, mirrors, so that they do not accumulate snow. For headlights, if you had LED headlights, those that do not heat up, you could spray them too, and they will not be icy.. For windshields, and mirrors, first, just wash them with water, dry them totally, then spray them with RAIN-X ( you can get it in any truck stop) let it sit for 20 seconds, then you wipe them dry with a good soft dry cloth. It will work amazing. No snow accumulation and no wipers necessary. Snow just slides off...

Former driver here: I used to drive Ontario and Quebec; only drove west of North Bay once, but drove a LOT in the northern towns like Royn-Nouranda, La Tuque, Trois Rivieres, etc. through LOTS of bad weather. Never drove a train routier, though, only American 53' 2-axle trailers. Driving a road train, I think you are speed-limited to 80 km/h. I've driven "American doubles" in conditions like yours, and even fully loaded on those, 100 km/h is about the fastest they can be driven safely. Just have your rear trailer slide a bit sideways, and the whiplash can get out of control really quickly! I've seen it happen in a split-second on a UPS turnpike double in my home state of NY. I wish I understood what your commentary was; I can understand that you are talking about 'overtaking' several times.

At 17.31 when he says that he has locked the differential, I said "Good job"..! For locking the differential provides power to all the axles at equal ratio, but this can only be used at low speeds. So it is like an "All Wheel drive" for trucks. But cannot be used over speeds of 40 km/ph. Good job.

I've been driving truck for 18 years I can tell you're going too fast in a very bad road condition with a double trailer. You have overtake many vehicles in one video. Other truckers driving at 50kmph aren't stupid, they're safe drivers. Drive safe brother, your loved ones awaits.

Been a tractor trailer driver myself for 15 years in Canada. Although I have done coast to coast in Canada, but never with a double trailer. This guy is really good and explains the concept well. The main thing I like about his is the fact that he is safety conscious, an EXTREMELY important element many of the new generation "so called" truckers are not. These newbies drive their tractor trailers like they are driving a car resulting in crashes and giving good truckers a bad name. I have driven in conditions like he has shown where there is so much snow, that you cannot see the edge of the road. In the "prairies" where he is driving which is Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta in general the ground is so flat that when the snow falls or there is "drifting snow" (a term where the wind whips up the snow so much that everything seems the same) the driver has a real problem in hand to keep the vehicle centred on what he thinks is the road. I have had incidences where I had to look at the GPS to see whether my truck is still on the road, sometimes. And when the summer arrives after the winter in the prairies, the snow melts and you can just see the road, as everything else is water for the snow melts, but it has nowhere to go...! Such is the amazing beauty of the prairies..

At 19.42, I disagree with you. If he has his differential on ahead of you, he is not going to get stuck. In fact, if he speeds up, he is going to spin off. Bobtail and winter roads are a bad combination. I have seen bobtails end up in the ditch between the lanes on the highway in the US. Same principle. No weight on your drives, you are not getting traction. So to get traction, you have to drive slow. Do not speed up in the snow while bob tailing. I don't want to see a video of a safe guy getting stuck in a ditch. Stay safe brother.
