I once dyed my hair electric purple five years ago, which then faded to a really cool pink peach like color. A few years later, I decided to dye the sides of my hair pink and my bangs blue. I then got it touched up and dyed it pink again, but this time my bangs were peacock . Currently, my hair has been dyed back to brown. (my national hair color). But I do plan on doing my hair one full color in the future.

I dye mine red - and it varies each time. Currently I have a darker red--violet. Sometimes I do an "intense red" and sometimes I go for the more mahogany like you just did yours. I always use ION hands dye from Sally's Beauty though.

I usually dye my hair a chocolate brown but recently I dyed it a bright red although my hair was already quite a dark blonde so it didn't go as bright as I thought it would but it was still nice. It also didn't stay in long and I have to dye it again but I still love my hair being this colour :)

When you color your hair, you schools shampoo & condition when you finish because it closes off the hair cuticle and prevents the color from coming out.

I usually do a dark brown when I dye mine because my natural hair is a lighter brown, but the tips get blondish, so I like to even out the color to a darker one :D I love your hair! :)

I've always wanted to dye my hair with a reddish tint, but four years ago my friends and I thought it would be a good idea to dye my hair blonde from home. Safe to say going from a dark brunette to blonde in one sitting with box dye is not ideal and I ended up with a yellow colour for a while that eventually turned blonde after dying it dark brown twice. My hair does naturally get blonde highlights in it if I spend time in the sun and at the beach though.

I have black hair so box dyes never show up on my hair! :( I had tried 4 times from dark brown, lightbrown, dark red to intense red but it didn't affect my hair at all! Then recently I tried a really light blonde color from Garnier and that made my hair lil brown and I'm so happy with it :D :D

I'm a natural brunette and for a few years I dyed my hair red. I got plenty of compliments from strangers on the street, many of them believing I was a natural ginger. It was nice being a redhead but as you said Sasha you have to dye it a lot more frequently as it fades over time faster than other colours. I REALLY want to dye my hair a dark brown-black. I have a few times dyed it dark brown but it always fades to a lighter brown. I feel if I kept dying my hair a dark brown-black, it will fade to a dark brown and my hair will get use to the colour overtime.

I think you don't have to really sweat it, because I've seen a lot of people with dyed light hair from red to blond and dark eyebrows and they look just fine, I don't even notice their eyebrows are different. :)

I tried to dye my hair yesterday.. I failed. Half of the hair stayed brown and only the other half is red.. I guess I have to try it again today :( I'm not sure though whether I missed the spots, or my hair didn't take in the dye.. I was sure I got all of it.
