How I edit photos for instagram - VSCO for beginners (& the daunted!)

I edit all my Instagram photos in VSCO. It's a great little app, but a lot of people I mentor tell me they find it confusing or don't really know where to start. Here's a guide to getting started.

What camera do you use to take photos on instagram ? It can't be an iPhone...

It is! 99% are iPhone - all the ones you see me edit in this are done on my 6s.

This week there were a couple of DSLR and a couple with the Google Pixel, so that might be what you're noticing? I need to do a side by side comparison with the two phones. The pixel camera is amazing.

Hi Sarah, so I notice you have not cropped the photos to a square for instagram? Also do you then save the photo out to your iphoto library (not post from VSCO)? I'm trying to get super organised on my work flow so any help would be good. Recently having problems posting to instagram from VSCO. Thanks :)

How come you have so many filters i have only 10 on vsco? How can i get more?

Scroll to he very end of the filters and you see a shop icon. You can buy extra packs for a few £/$! My faves are the mininalist and the aesthetic collections.
