Ive always been shown to put a moss pole extension on the inside of the top portion. No decapitations and the water doesn't run right outside the pole. Maybe give that a try... Your house and plants are gorgeous!

I just bought the Alocasia Jackalyn and they are absolutely stunners! I noticed yours flip flops like mine and I was surprised because I had enough mix in it to try to keep it steady.

Hi April! Honestly, I think your home is shrinking… it’s happening to me as well. But oh well. My Hoya Caudata Sumatra just bloomed but they didn’t last but 2 or 3 days ☹️… they were super pretty though, your obovata has pretty blooms.

Girl, i get what you mean about the stinky smell. I stopped using that stinky stuff on regularing waterings. I walk by the plants, i can smell it, it smells like sh*t rot, and i can't handle that. I only use it on propagations. Lol

Hi April. Loving all your plants. What is the best way to get the most variation on any variegated plant? Lots of light or less light? HELP

I would say keep chopping down to the most variegated node 🌱 I will usually propagate down to where there’s more variegation if the leaves start coming out greener than I’d like lol

Philo verrucosum are just annoying. I think I am giving up on mine. She is thirsty, she grows typically tall, and she sucks to propagate.
