ive shot a few events , and I like the formula you did here , and going to use it as an example , I like that you got people to smile and wave , Im always going around and trying to get shots organically of people doing that , but that seems way easier what you did and less time consuming LOL so thanks !
@wegofilm20 сағат бұрын
I always thought it might turn out more "cheesy" but in the edit it usually ends up looking pretty cute!!
@Tonellacam19 сағат бұрын
@ no the people looked like they were genuinely smiling and happy , which is a testament to what you are doing and being polite and asking them , I’m going to use it for sure , side note , do you press record on your camera , I noticed you doing it , does the gimbal you have not have Bluetooth where you can press it on the gimbal , I may be mistaken though , I have the RS3 pro

Ahh this was so cool Rena! As someone with a heart to film small businesses in my local city of San Diego, I loved seeing your BTS. I tend to shoot wide but loved seeing how you shoot vertically. You also did such a great job varying the shots and getting the happy people. Also loved the trolley shots so much! Question: what picture profile are you shooting on your Sony? Does that camera have SLOG? I shoot on a Sony a6600 and we only have “picture profiles”. I’ve gotta figure that out to color better 😭 Question 2: did you edit in premiere before? How was your transition to davinci? Everyone tells me it’s a gamechanger (and not in the least, because PrPro slows down even my new computer soo much) but I’m nervous to relearn a whole new program.
@wegofilm2 күн бұрын
Thank you so much!! We usually don't film too much vertically so this was a fun for us too! We film on slog3! I used premiere when I went to college and when I worked at an agency. I never really liked premiere's layout and preferred Final Cut for personal projects so it wasn't too difficult to change to DaVinci since it was similar to Final Cut, plus it's super intuitive! You can also export your premiere shortcuts and import them to davinci as well. It's also been easier since Jack color grades on davinci so the transition from editing to color grading is much smoother. I LOVE DAVINCI!! They have a free version so you should just play around and feel it out :)
