2:23 - 2:36 Too late, timestamped. I don't know what the "correct" balance would be, but I do think they went a little too far in the other direction in how "easy" it is to rank up. I remember seeing people in Tag 2 with 600+ wins with a 70-something percent win rate on a character, but they were still in orange ranks, so I don't think ranking up needs to be *that* hard. Like, maybe, tweak the current system, but have six ranks per bracket? I don't like three ranks per bracket 'cuz I don't like odd numbers. 51:52 - 52:00 If that's the move I'm thinking of, it was safe. Zafina and Eddy had the only safe mid Power Crushes in Tekken 7, but those moves were minus on hit. People not wanting to block for any reason very much is a thing. 1:09:00 - 1:09:36 And with that, Tekken 8 is over. Done. Finished. What do I do with my life now? Tell me, K-Wiss!

i dont really understand why ranked is so... unappealing. im didnt master tekken at all but managed to get to GoD while in 7 i had real competition after emperor. the players at these ranks in 8 are simply not really good and the last rank was achieved to early imo

The reason why there are less ranks than in T7 is easy to explain. It’s because to give casuals a better feeling while playing rank. When there are less ranks, then it’s easier for a casual to reach a higher rank and he has a better experience. But I’m with you, there should be more ranks above god of destruction or more gold ranks until GoD
