@@taysthetic Did you hear about the new law making dropshipping basically impossible? there will soon be a new law that says that certain goods shipped from china (like clothing and basically 85% of all products coming from china) need to pay extra taxes and duties regardless of their cost (usually you only pay this for shipments over 800$, the de minis threshold), which makes dropshipping these products on the list (section 301) impossible because you have to pay 25% (or more) extra for each shipment and you have to report every single shipment to the US border protection with all needed certificates for the products (including sender and buyer information) Have you heard about this yet? This was enforced by Biden in september 2024 and will be implemented in the next few months.

CPM is a top of funnel metric and are related to what people are seeing on their feed. You probably didnt make any interesting ad creatives; I suggest you to study more about how to analyze metrics and understand how your metrics are related to your sales funnel

honestly there’s no real explanation as to why it happens as it can be so many different variables (ie. Facebook page, ad account, domain, product, what you write in your ads or landing page, etc) Also depends on the niche too. Usually high CPMs like that are for health or beauty related products.

you can't with the Fb ads library. However, one solution would be to use Minea to look up the name of the Facebook page. From there you can view the comments of the ad post.

you can look at whatever country you want and sell that product in different markets too. but yes, generally I see ads on my feed based on my location. if you're in a location like US or EU, you should be able to come across some good ads.

I generally recommend Zendrop for beginners because it’s super easy to use, has good service, and shipping times. AutoDS works similarly, but the UI can be a bit more complex for some. It’s can be good for ppl who want to dropship through other platforms like Amazon though

We had something similar in Brazil this year. All imported products now have state and federal taxes that add up to 90% of the value of the product + shipping. Aliexpress has automated the system that automatically declares all information to the competent bodies. It made the drop quite difficult, but it still didn't make it impossible.

I don't think it's accurate with the ad spent and views. I keep seeing less than $1 even though some of them started a week ago. I'm not sure if the FB api exposes this info anyway so I wouldn't use this information for research.

True, it might take some time for the extension to gather accurate data on fresh creatives. But you can still keep an eye on the FB page and see how many active ads they are running/for how long to get an idea of how successful it could be
