Don't trim or cut the plastic all you need is a heat gun and a small piece of 2 x 4 cut the piece of 2 x 4 so that it is slightly oversized of the measurement between the tire and where the flattened pinch weld is now after you do the pinch weld slowly heat up the plastic with the heat gun and use the the piece of wood between the tire and the plastic slowly pushing the plastic down the wood is there to keep the plastic down till it cools that way you keep a semi factory look and you don't have hacked up plastic

Can you provide a video please thank you

@@paulcuddle664 Explanation is straight forward buddy. Heat up the plastic, cushion the 2x4 wood inboard towards the vehicle so the plastic reformed into new shape after cooling, check clearance--reiterate as neccesary

If you got aftermarket upper control arms you could adjust ur caster and wouldn't need any trimming.

Hello, would you be so kind as to help me with a question. I bought some wheels, 17x10 -12mm, almost like yours, before buying the tires, could this also work or will it present a bigger problem than yours? In any case, is it possible? Thank you very much for your video, very helpful 👍
@MorlaProductions10 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t think those wheel will work with these size tires. Check out our latest video that addresses this.

We’ll done man! Quick question for you- I just found out my 02 taco has some serious rust on the frame… any suggestions on how I can repair it? It only has like 130k on it and I’d love to keep driving it for as long as possible
@bertbccfu95642 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure where you're located but maybe you can try to find someone that does frame repairs, that's what I do I have my own Fab shop, I do bumpers, steps , Sliders and skid plates, but I also do a lot of frame repair and rust removal and I paint frames then finish off the interior of the frames with woolwax or fluid film , I'm in Southeastern Massachusetts we have a lot of rust here

It’s the tire width that causes the rubbing. I put 245’s in mine and no lift or modifications required
