The KV2 1940 was the mass produced version of the KV2. So the 1939 version should have been the premium and this be in the Tech Tree

I just change nations and brs all the time. Last night I tried to grind 3.3 Japan and was getting shit on so switched to 12.0 Sweden(I know top tier hurr duur) and actually had a good time. You just gotta switch things up, br, nation or mode.

Yea it’s quite common I think for people to get the goal of top tier, and it’s not what they expected and completely quit the game because of it.

Exactly what happens to me got to topbtier jets america, USSR, Italy ,France ect. And I find my self having fun more at 6.7 7.0 br . The CS at top tier is just to much is it ground RB or fkn Air RB FFs

I got top tier ussr free to play and it was so much fun but after getting every top tier plane and having so much fun I can’t really feel it playing other nations. Ussr is just so unique and the planes have their own style. America just feels dull and boring 😅

On 2024, I spent only $26 on war thunder, my premium acc expired about 2 weeks ago and I'm not planning on buying premium this year, the only reason I still play war thunder is because there's no other game like it, I wish war thunder had a decent competitor so they could ease the grind for the casual players but I don't see any war thunder like game coming out in the near future so Gaijin still has plenty of time to keep milking war thunder.

I’ve got a 4.3 German line-up I use when I get burned out at top tier. 1.7 Sweden is another really fun screw around tier for me. I just started grinding Japan too because why not. Definitely gotta change things up to keep the game from getting too stale or frustrating

Too bad Pbil m/40 or whatever it is got moved up to 2.0 because that thing, BT42, Ikv and reserves made one hell of a lineup, I got up to 15 kills! Well, mainly because I'm fairly more skilled than oponents but vehicles are quite good. I have level 90 and experted crew on BT 42 and rangefinder is accurate up to about 1200m, love to bonk people behind cover from above. 2.7 is also quite nice, B239 for CAS with 6 (I think) .50 cals deals good damage and is great for clearing out enemy planes.

I feel like there is two thing gaijin can do to make the game feel like less of a burnout 1) make the previous game modes/April fools events available to play at all times 2 make the premium vehicles that have been unavailable, available Not only would you have different game modes to play you would also have different vehicles to play in those modes

I have not played war thunder since august 2024. Chivalry 2 and enlisted have became my replacement for the last couple of months 😂. Felt burnout and just decided to stop.

​@BunnyRabbit62 chivalry is quite fun. A mic of realism and arcade medieval fights. Little grind, though in my opinion it's a bit too overpriced. Btw recently egs gave it away for free. Enlisted is made by gajin.....it's not THE worst game but it's quite junky with WT grind or even worse

@@BunnyRabbit62 well chiv 2 is a multiplayer sword fighting game. It is difficult tho so when you get in the game expect to die alot. Also there is no pay to win at any aspect at all. Just skill. This is one of the game that i recommend you to finish the tutorial (its actually useful). For enlisted its a casual ww2 shooter with ALOT of grind similar to wt so i typically dont recommend it to anyone. Good news is you can play infantry tank and plane :)

Biggest thing that burnt me out was the terrible battle passes and events. I took a break for Christmas so I could have more time for family functions, then Jan hit and the new BP was so underwhelming I left last season unfinished because it wasn't even worth the free upgrade tokens I'd have to trade. I love War Thunder, I've spaded all (except Israel) countries air and ground trees to 6-7 BR, but I need more variety and interesting vehicles to grind for. I'll be back in the air/sea/field eventually but man these events are bummers.

I play mostly air arcade, and i recently unlocked my first jet. F80 in us tree. But anytime i get frustrated, i just switch nations. I have US, Brittian, USSR, Germany and Japan all unlocked up to at least 5.7 br. My favorite br to play at though is 3.0-4.0. If im really getting shit on, ill swap to ussr at 4.0 and start having 15 to 19 kill games until I feel better

I have up to and above rank 3 ground in 8 nations, mostly from event vehicles or grinding a bit so I can always change it up a little but also from time to time I'll play some ARB in stuff I find interesting or am confident I can do well in. Whenever I feel like bashing the keyboard into monitor because of a lineup I can switch it up.

The kv2 1940 has a machine gun a better engine and new turret its the same version as the german premium kv2 wuch is also a 1940 version

I recently decided to play a little USSR as a break from Germany and I got the KV-1 (1939) and I was wondering what shell was the best? HE or SAPHE?

HE is overall the better shell just because it has a smaller fuse sensitivity The sap shells have to pen 19mm of armor before it will fuse the shell, but at the same time if your having to shoot though objects like game 3 SAP might be a better shell for that game.
