Thanks for this video! My new 3S board started with the sticking numbers recently. Gran Board support was great, they sent a new matrix out, but I wanted to fix the original matrix because I don’t want to have to get a new or replacement one every time this happens. The heat gun solution was perfect!!

Super video! I just received my Granboard Dash today, planning about the wall mounting method.. might go for some kind of solution that would allow quick and easy setup instead of fixed mount. By the way, any idea what caused the dent in the sheet, too heavy dart or pushing broken tips through etc? Darts seem to stick pretty tight, I bought Harrows 16g softip darts before receiving the board since I read somewhere not to go beyond 20g. Now tried combining the Harrows darts with the tips that came with the board, those tips seemed a tiny bit thicker / more severe cone and thought they might not stick that tight and based on a quick test seemed to be that way, a bit easier to pull the darts out.

I wouldn't push tips through unless you have to. The segments are what makes the indents, so don't let anyone punch the board, lol. As for removing the darts, twist clockwise and pull out. This keeps the tips tight on the dart and helps release them from the board. I only use 16-18 g darts.

I used a piece of thin plastic and punched a hole in it then taped it in between the sheets. Worked like a charm.

Yep we did the same. The process in this video helped some, but mine was still under warranty. Got a video/pics of it and Granboard sent me a replacement sensor pad. We used one sheet of the old pads and stuck in in front of the new sensor pad...all numbers work good and have had no issues of sticking numbers for a while now. If we ever have that issue again maybe we'll try 2 of the old sensor plastic pads lol. For now 1 seems to work fine and all the hits/bounce outs register fine. We ordered a spare sensor pad for the next time we have major issues.

Worked for me on my 3s, 19 had a dimple. I used a heat gun and heated a socket extension and pressed it against the matrix and a piece of plywood.

Hey I really like your video and well done for fixing your 7. Your problem looked a bit more serious than mine but when a segment has got stuck down I’ve made a mini plunger like for a sink to suck it back out and make it stop registering phantom hits. Just wish the online game had a round reverse as I’ve lost a few games to this and seen my average plummet!

I have a granboard 3 dartboard and in your video i have seen that your dartboard have a "foam" or some similar inside the pieces of the impact zone. Have you put this foam? What is the function? The impact sound is lower? What material have you use?. Thanks you so much.

Question: I have a bar style electronic dart board. We are having a major issue with Stuck Darts. The segments will jam in and stick. We took all the segments out and cleaned them up (a little grimey (old board)). Seems to be better, but the issue hasn't been totally resolved. I can't seem to find any info on how to actually fix the issue, any suggestions?

Great video. Thanks. On my Granboard sometimes the 20 will register as a 5 especially if it is down in the lower portion of the 'V' . Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

The problem with my Granboard 3 is that sometimes when my dart hits, it automatically switches to the next player and am unable to finish my round. Sometimes on my first dart, sometimes 2nd dart, and sometimes 3rd dart. Auto change is turned off. Any help would be much appreciated.

You might need to see if you can order a new button. I would still take it apart, it might be something jammed inside

2 cameras for the app, like one at me and one at the board? If thats what you're asking then no. I mount the phone to the wall so it faces me. The phone is then plugged into the tv so I can see what on the phone. Nice large screen is I can see the numbers :) hope that helps

I would take it apart and see if you can press the matrix on them numbers and see what happens. If it does nothing the main board could be bad

I see what I can do. But I would try swapping the segment with another number. If that doesn't work then you might need a new matrix

Take it apart and clean the matrix it might be dirty. Or the tabs on the Bull are not long enough to push on the matrix, you could try buying a new bull. GL

Thanks for the video! It was helpful to see how easy the board came apart and possibly repaired because I bought a used board with the same issue but with the bull being stuck for pretty cheap and was able to fix it. Unfortunately after a little while the 6 also became stuck and I put a little too much heat trying to fix it and screwed up the trace. Sadly that trace also leads to the 13 so that didn't work too. I looked around and found out that GranDarts has replacement parts for most of the board but retailers only carry the segments usually so I messaged them on Facebook and was able to purchase a new sensor sheet and now my board is 100% again. So if you have problems like this again and can't fix it, try messaging them on Facebook and hopefully it doesn't cost too much to have one shipped to you since they're located in Japan or hopefully they have a headquarters in the US. The sheet itself was 2,032 yen which is a little under 20 USD. Also, I suspect that one of the main reasons the sensor sheet gets screwed up like this is because of the molding process of the segments. the nubs that contact the sensor sheet aren't perfectly flat and are slightly U shaped which kind of, "cuts" into the sensor sheet. I ended up smoothing out all the nubs with sand paper on glass to make sure that they were flat to prolong the life of my board. This isn't for sure but I figured that it didn't hurt to do.
