I have endometriosis as well as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. So I severely struggle with poor gut health. I have eczema when I eat dairy, gluten, peanuts, and almonds. I get constipated when I eat over 60g of carbs, so on top of my food intolerances it really limits what I can eat. I see a lot of discourse about eating a diet high in fats, but it is the only way I can stay full without the carbs. I wish people would understand that one diet does not fit all, just like one medication won’t work for everyone.
@ZeBiii10 күн бұрын
Do the "diet" what works best for you & not what other say is "better" or "ideal". Some women do better with high fat low carb diets then other. Especially as women we need a good amount of fats in our body because of hormones. If you have unbalance hormones healthy fats are soo good! I personally cant eat food that have too much fat, because I have chronicle gut/gastritis problems. I rather tolerated high carbs/low fat diet. This shows how different people have different solutions for themselves :D

Hey❤ I would look into “PMDD” if I was you. It is a very condition that most commonly affects women with adhd (for some reason). Once I can relate as a girl who has anxiety, depression, adhd, eczema, but overall, I have pmdd, which arguably is the catalyst for everything else. Consider “cycle-syncing” where you live a lifestyle around your monthly cycle. Xx

I've been working this year to heal my gut - found out I had chronically high levels of cortisol. Once I started moving away from processed foods, taking a pre/probiotic and also going through counseling and restructuring the way I mentally get through my days incorporating somatic exercises, my gut health improved unbelievably fast. Symptoms I did not even realize were symptoms just vanished and I feel like a totally different person.

Hi there! Maybe journaling all your steps and workout can help you. Do you know if you're really in a calorics deficit or not ? Working out increases appetite and sometimes we " overeat" without even knowing it.Or you could have have the opposite problems: you do not eat nearly enough and so your body is storing fat at every occasion he can. Are you eating enough protein? Or getting good quality of sleep? You could have sleep apnea. Maybe you could have PCOS ? And every workout isn't meant for everybody: for example overdoing HIIT is bad for women. Or maybe it is your pilI ?I suggest you to go check 2 episodes of the Andrew Hubermann podcast on youtube : How to optimize female hormone and th eone with Dr.Stacy Sims. I hope I don't sound presemptuous. I hope I gave you some perspective. Good luck for your journey !

Drinking clay and taking supplements such as black walnut hulls, coral powder, fish oils and veggie smoothies helped me enormously! But all this in addition to meditating every evening and doing yoga and somatic exercises. When you work at a corporate job and you sit down too much and get stressed, you have no idea how bad it can affect your health. I was also exposed to a lot of mold and was living in a stressed environment, so I needed to go strong on healing my gut for the sake of my life.

this was helpful! I just wonder if anyone knows what could be the reason for not gaining weight despite increasing calorie intake over months? I went to doctors back in February and was diagnosed with chest infection and got put on 2 antibiotics, I’ve explained to the few doctors that I’ve seen that I’ve never experienced such a weight loss and have never struggled with weight gain. They all laughed it off, thinking I was just not eating enough, but that is completely not true and made me honestly really depressed. I’ve done blood tests and stomach ultrasound and even chest x-ray as I was struggling to breath when I was sick but nothing dangerous has popped up. They also looked at my thyroid glands and they were fine. So here I am 6 months later still struggling with weight and breathing sometimes, wondering if going back to doctors is even worth the money and copious amount of stress

It's so weird how our health changes as we age, and our gut is definitely a large part of it. When I was younger I was extremely high energy, ate like a horse but couldn't keep weight on, never had bloating or a stomach ache, walked at least an hour a day, and had tons of hair. I was naturally slim and healthy and looked like an athlete. Now, I am low energy, carry some extra weight, get bloated no matter what I eat, have periods of food sensitivities, and get stomach aches regularly. I have tried so many things but I haven't healed yet.
