well one thing to be aware of is make sure you dont bubble wrap your GPU and RAM directly to a bubble wrap as it can produce static electricity and can definitely harm transistors if it happens. So make sure you box it with the stock cover that's given and box it exactly how it is from the factory to avoid such problems.

I put by case inside the baggage with a hard shell and checked in, I traveled like this many times and nothing happened to my computer.

I fit a Corsair mini-ITX build and an xg17 monitor inside an airline approved hard shell carryon luggage. I pay for an early boarding fee. Never had to gate-check it.

This is very helpful! I’m currently getting prepared for a big move and since I’m bringing my dog with me (pets normally count as carry-on luggage on most airlines) I have to put my pc in checked luggage. Now all I need to do is figure out which pieces are which and remember where each part belongs and hopefully I’ll be good to go ☺️

You don't need the case , which is heavy to run your PC fyi If it's for short travel I'd just make sure it's grounded and use open case setup

There are adapters you can buy on Amazon for around $20-40 I think. Be careful in the UK! Everything is 220v which will bust your electronics if you plug directly into the wall!

Case as checked in luggage with as many clothes I can put inside and around it. On top of that just one month of premium google drive subscription to back up everything to prepare for the worst. @@vira2936 yea ive already moved, I took most of my components off like the GPU, AIO , power cords, and some of my screens in the PC. I have a lian li case so I was able to fit a lot of clothes inside of it and I also put clothes a layer of masking tape around the glass panels. The only thing in the PC case was the motherboard, CPU, ram, and the nvme. I checked all of those in and I carried my GPU in my bag as carry on lmaoo. Wasnt trying to have that break

Yes! Most power adapters will say 120~240v, meaning they support both (Be sure to check if there is a switch though! You can bust your power supply with too much voltage!). Otherwise, you can buy wall plug adapters for 110v -> 220v and vice versa

well hopefully you figured it out, but modern PSUs will usually take 110-240v now, but otherwise you have to buy some wall adapter. They're cheap-ish on Amazon
