HERE’S YOUR COMPLETE GUIDE TO MOISTURIZING YOUR HAIR EVERY WEEK
SUMMARY OF STEPS:
pre-poo to detangle
scalp mask to remove build up
shampoo to cleanse
conditioner to rebalance
leave in to moisturize
styler to style, duh!
STEP 1: apply a scalp mask and prepoo before you shampoo

Shaz and Kiks Hair and Scalp Prewash Mask
RECS (scalp masks)
Briogeo’s Scalp Revival Tea Tree Mask
Prose’s Hydrating Scalp Mask
Bread’s Scalp and Hair Mask
TPH’s Maskin and Relaxin Scalp Mask
STEP 2: Rinse out pre-poo and scalp mask, apply shampoo to scalp and hair with shampoo brush

Really most shampoos work here, just be sure to whip out that shampoo brush and shampoo twice if necessary.

STEP 3: Condition your hair…this one is simple just use the sister conditioner to whatever shampoo you used. Typically the conditioner meant as a follow-up to your shampoo will be formulated to rebalance your hair’s pH. This helps with frizz, shine, moisture, and the overall integrity of your hair. If there isn’t a sister conditioner…it’s okay to move on to step 4.
STEP 4: Apply your deep conditioner generously and let it sit for the time recommended on the back of the product

STEP 5: Use a leave in conditioner

STEP 6: Style with whatever you like!
A good gel for your wash and go really does seem to seal everything in and even act as armor against physical day-to-day wear and tear.
RECS:
I like Welting Extreme Gel for that
The right Mousse can be moisturizing as well
The Doux Mousse Def is perfect for this
And Curl Creams will typically offer you the most moisture
But could lack a lil definition at least in my case
The one exception to that has been Donna’s Recipe’s Extra Creamy Leave in and Hair and Scalp Oil
Them thangs is a winning combo every time!
NOW if necessary
You can do 2 things that will help sustain your hair and scalp throughout the week
One is to CoWash mid week and restyle
My favorite cowash is AsIAms Olive and Tea Tre Oil CoWash
The second thing you can do is GO PICK UP A SCALP SERUM
TPH by Taraji’s Ultra Chill Scalp Serum
Pattern Beatuy’s Scalp Serum
The Ordinary’s Scalp Serum (it’s got Hylauronic Acid in it)
Briogeo’s Scalp Treatment with Tea Tree Oil
Breads Exfoliating Scalp Serum with Mandelic Acid to stimulate and exfoliate and eucolyptol to soothe
CoWashes and Scalp Serums are gonna be your best friend throughout the winter especially

I love a good leave in. I’m a cream and hair milk girly but leave in sprays can be beneficial too. The best leave in sprays usually has humectants high on the ingredients list 👌🏽

Hey boo. You should not be using head and shoulder & give your scalp some time to revert to being normal again. Instead of shampoo , I would suggest using Aztec clay and ACV 2x a month on your scalp directly. You can use a limited ingredient shampoo to wash it out. Conditioner also doesn’t go on your scalp. It goes on your hair shafts. Also try oiling your scalp with Clove oil to help with flaking. You can make your own oil at home. I also suggest a rosemary water RINSE between wash days.
