People are crazy to get so close, it looks really dangerous. Yes, it's fascinating, but there are so many things that could happen as you point out, including the poisonous gases. To even think of sleeping there is madness! 🌋

Hi Roman, since starting to follow the volcanic activity in Iceland, and the things I've seen, it is greatly impressed on me that you could be going for a hike somewhere, or sleeping on the lava field or build a wall to protect infrastructure, and boom‼️ All of a sudden a fissure cracks open the earth and lava starts spouting out at pressure. Also, as we've seen a fissure slice straight through a wall and engulf three houses on the outskirts of Grindivik. It would be difficult to know where to build walls or where to go for a hike without taking your life in your own hands, but we put our life in God's hands. Most likely, the reason the drone stopped responding is frequency interruption and unfavourable atmospheric conditions.

the fact is, our life (technically, its not even ours) is never in our own hands, but in those of The Most High... without him there is nothing, no existence nor life... Places like Iceland are a hint of His wonder and Awe among the worlds, that man may know of His power...

I think Grindavik and Blue Lagoon/Geothermal plant need higher lavawalls DOUBLE being the inner higher than the outer. It should calalize the lavaflows away from these key places.

Hi from Australia, I always enjoy your content and flying. I find with my DJI drone I occasionally lose signal if I am near any electro magnetic sources, here the problem is with high tension power lines or near radio transmission towers, but there may be some kind of natural EM or similar type of interference being produced by the volcanic activity? just a guess, but maybe. I would like to get to Iceland in the future, such a beautiful and amazing country and your footage shows that well. Have a great day :)

Do volcanos put out any electromagnetic waves ?
@christopherrobinson75417 ай бұрын
No. But the material ejected does record the magnetic field as it cools. This provides evidence that the earth's magnetic field reverses frequently. This is evident at the Mid-Atlantic ridge where there is seafloor spreading.
