Very Valid points and amazing gesture from you Jegan to share this info. My 2 cents that could perhaps give a bit more insights on this - Setting our expectations on savings - this is not the same for expats working temporarily and for guys seeking relocation and permanent migration. Second would be the local language. Based on country being targetted, its best to have the basic level certification already done back in India and never pause learnign the language as majority of us indians take a hit due to language barrier in the country where job might have good amount of dependency/interactions with people not speaking a word of English.

@jegankennedy6 ай бұрын
So many questions, let me try one by one. Yes I had 6 months probation. My notice period was manageable for me and didn't scare me. I stayed initially in Nuremberg, bit far from Munich. There also it was difficult but somehow after a 45 days hotel stay and continuous search I found a place to stay. Not every company fires people within one or two weeks. So don't be worried, if you get a good salary from a stable company, you can definitely consider Germany.

Hi Jegan sir, u have given a valuable information in all ur videos , which is very useful in finding a better job and career growth.I just want to clarify one doubt that, what is the minimun salary to get the german work permit in order not to reject the application while applying for work permit.
@jegankennedy Жыл бұрын
Hi Murali, Thanks. I do not find any minimum level salary for work permit. The lowest salary I saw is 32k euro per annum. That comes as normal work visa. (D Type). Generally work permit visa does not get rejected due to salary limit (at least I have not seen till now). But my suggestion is to aim for a minimum salary that is more than 46k. With this you could apply for blue card. (a special type of visa with more benefits).

Hi Jagan, Does Germany sponsor work visa for 19 yrs experience in application programming?
@jegankennedy6 ай бұрын
Hi Surender, As far as I understand, it is possible. There is no restriction with age/experience in getting visa. It is just that you need to show some additional proof for pension contribution from home country. (If you are from India, then PF could be one option. But that is just my assumption, haven't had a direct experience yet). That being said, your first step is to get a full time German employment contract, then everything else is easy. (or at least possible).

currently have a student visa for Germany and my_qualifications are 3 years of experience in QA software testing. So I was thinking whether I should choose the path of student visa and try for jobs and convert it into work, since I lost interest in masters. Or should I apply from India itself for jobs that offer visa sponsorship or come there in job seeker visa and try or trying for a job in student visa and converting it. I am totally confused on making a decision, your suggestions will be a huge help to me.
@jegankennedy6 ай бұрын
It may not be a direct answer but student & job seeker visa routes are expensive ones. Searching for a job from home country is a slow path. There are positives & negatives in each route. But in general, for QA testing, there are good number of jobs in Germany. I have seen many got jobs from home country itself. If you are getting good number of responses for your applications, then searching for a job from home country makes sense. If not, student or JSV is the way to go.

German is not mandatory. There are many German companies whose company language is English. But having basics of German before coming here would really help. Visa processing time : For me during COVID time, it took around 4 months. (3 months for appointment itself.) May be now it is improved.

After getting job seeker VISA for IT professionals Is it mandatory to go Germany for job search ?? Or we can search by sitting in India too online ??
@jegankennedy10 ай бұрын
After getting JSV, if you do not come to Germany then you might still be considered as normal candidate who has no visa. Though you could argue that you can travel immediately in those 6 months, employers would still prefer someone who is already in Germany. Hi @Music Beatzz, It is true that some employers are firing some people. But that's mostly in companies that are finanacially struggling. In Germany, for developers there is very good demand, even now. It is not true that you need to study in Germany to get a job. But its one of the easiest routes. However If you're good at your skills you can find a job from home country itself. But during this difficult financial times, you should be careful in accepting offers from very small companies. Check if the company is doing well in their business then accept the offer. All the best

Let me know your thought as well My plan to buy both Sites Premium bcoz opportunity is so Less if we buy premium at least i am visible to some recruiter's My German in A2 level in Goethe but that too not so good to be honest. I studied 3 yrs back still i remember but somewhat i won't speak that much. Now a days only again i am studying to get at least A2 Level Speaking.

Thanks a lot for your motivating comments brother. Coming to your question, don't rush to buy premium accounts. Maybe, let's evaluate if you really need one. I currently have a premium account in LinkedIn, maybe let's connect over a Google Meet and see the difference between normal and premium accounts. Let's connect over LinkedIn and decide.

You got the job because you had experience. It is almost impossible for a fresher to get a job in Germany from India
@jegankennedy Жыл бұрын
Yeah, at least 3 yrs experience is what generally expected for visa sponsorship.

Hi Jagan I am a front end developer 4+ years of experience what chances do I have to get visa sponsorship from Germany if I apply or what do I need to do to get one?
@jegankennedy Жыл бұрын
Hi Mayur, It's only based on my limited visibility, that for front end developers I see less visa sponsoring jobs. But as a whole for developers/full stack developers there is a good amount jobs here. You could definitely give a serious try for it.

Hi can you please let me know how to seek job for software testing background
@jegankennedy2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching video and commenting. You can follow same steps as discussed in video. But while searching in LinkedIn please use "QA Tester Visa", "QA Analyst Visa", "QA Engineer Visa". I have done a quick search now and able to find many openings with visa sponsorship. You can try. All the best 👍

Can we come there in IT jobs...as a fresher?
@jegankennedy8 ай бұрын
My experience shows that minimum of 3 yrs work experience is usually required. But there should be possibilities to find internship and apprenticeship for freshers.

I am having 3.9 years of experience as software Engineer, but I would like to move as devops Engineer to Germany, is there any scope for me ?, Am I eligible to apply and get the devops Engineer job ??
@jegankennedy Жыл бұрын
I suppose you could try when you have 3+ yrs of experience. I heard DevOps is a hot skill here. But currently the job market situation seems to be volatile, so carefully decide if you want to move. Please choose a strong company and then move.
