What does it cost to make (and hold) this kind of power? The Zipper’s 124" Sleeper basic engine kit is $1,859.00, and includes the parts and services found in this link. bit.ly/ZippersSLEEPER124 If you’re starting from scratch, all of the components used to fully dress out Tall's motorcycle as a package sells for $6,599.00. This includes the Zipper’s Sleeper 124 engine kit, along with new tappets, freshening your heads to our Stage II specs, and a ThunderMax ECM with AutoTune. 5.5 injectors, high flow air filter, ThunderMax oil cooler fan, D&D 2:2 X-Cat dual headers with Vortex mufflers & chrome billet tips, a Bandit SuperClutch, and an AIM slave cylinder. Installation on the motorcycle is not included in that cost, and the kit can be purchased complete or as any combination of the components listed. If you need a professional service provider referral please contact Zipper’s at ProductSupport@zippersperformance.com

@@sailronin David, I can't answer your question about Zippers, but I am looking to purchase a 20 low rider S and I've discovered that Moonshine Harley in TN will build a wild engine and their dealership will cover the balance of your bike's warranty. Seriously thinking about making the 500 mile drive to Moonshine, although I only live 80 miles from Zippers. I really want to do Zipper's, but the warranty is an big question. I hope someone answers your question.

So how do you feel about giving up the H-D warranty? Is there any warranty after the build, or do you have to take it back to Zippers? Is there any warranty from them, or is it just a hot build and you are on your own, back home? I think I would have done this after the H-D warranty ran out.

Ive used both(adj/solid) on big builds. One of the Downfalls to these builds is high lift cams and Tappet wear. The adj's allow u to go in and replace tappets easily and NOT take the heads off. If youre like me and ride 15-18K miles a year, get adjustable. I was leery of them when they first came out. Until i saw a friend break a valve spring and the adj push rod was fine.

I enjoy your videos and understand your excitement for the build, however I feel you’ve lost 100% of your warranty which may not effect you especially if this bike is your keeper. When it comes time to sell or trade you can expect to receive pennies on the dollar because long term reliability is out the window. Not to mention the cost to upgrade the suspension and brakes if one truly expects to ride this motorcycle. Good luck and enjoy it as this is part of the “making it yours experience” and for some myself included IS ALL THAT MATTERS. Ride forever G BeWingInIt.

Thanks for the comment. I bought it to make it my own, that's one of the reasons I bought a Street Glide Standard, I knew that I'd rather take the extra money and make it my own. I know that's not for everyone and that's ok. I myself can't allow the fear of what could happen to fence me in from the freedom of truly enjoying my motorcycle. If I limited myself by all the possibilities and uncertaintys of unforeseen incidents I wouldn't be riding a motorcycle. As for depritaion, how is the bike any different from people sending there cars to Hennessy Racing or Dinan for BMW's. The bike is built by a World Record Motorcycle Racing title holding team in there factory 100 feet away from the parts that they manufacture and ship in the US and internationally. I have no plans of selling or trading it. Thanks for watching G Bewinginit.
