Excellent video tutorial brother!! I have a few ‘tallica tones I’ve uploaded to the cloud. If u can, d/l the file called One clean James Intro tone 2 , which is my attempt at Hetfield’s ONE clean guitar tone. Let me know what you think! Btw, tune your guitar slightly sharp: 444hz. That was AJFA’s tuning!

I downloaded a preset called "Nothing Else Clean" which is a clean Metallica tone i like. I'll see if I can find yours and give it a shot 👍

@@GingerJesusGuitar My ID on the Bias ‘cloud is GERALD KING III I also have a NEM preset too! Although, now that I think about it, I did those tones using Hetfield’s Snakebyte guitar with those active “HET SET” Pickups, which might not sound the same if these tones are played on a passive pickup’d guitar

Can I use bias fx 2 on it's own to just mave the guitar sound how I want cause I don't have any intentions rn to record Also does either software have a guitar tuner built into it or can I just find free software online for it? Also is there any reason to get the fancier versions of the software or is the standards ones good enough for a hobbiest and still let me set things up to sound pop punk/alternative.

Do you pan one amp left and one amp right? Also what mics do you typically use? Assuming a different one for each cab sim.

Everything is mono for these videos. I typically use the mics that are default with the presets.

Bias FX2? I rock with the standard version. Plenty of options/tones.

I wouldn't say easier, Tom. I'd say similar concept just using the Helix instead of the amp sim plugin. If you don't have to record into a DAW, then the Helix is a cool option for getting a variety of guitar tones live.
