What if you already have a great portfolio but dont want to keep making free sample videos for potential clients?
@RealClumz22 күн бұрын
If you actually have an insane portfolio with insanely high quality work then you'd get hired without needing to do a free sample. I get clients reaching out to me & they don't ever ask for a sample. The key is to make a lot of great videos & to put your work out there. This eliminates the need for free samples. However, if you're applying for a position in which the editing style is different from yours, then yes you would need to do a sample video even if you're really good. Why? Because the creator needs to see if you can do the style he wants.

For step 2 are you creating content about editing? Or could it be about anything
@RealClumz22 күн бұрын
@@spkktr can be about anything as long as the editing is good. You can use it as portfolio. Best method is creating videos about other creators and sending it to them but make sure it’s insane. And let’s say you don’t get the client, did you waste your time? No you got better + more videos in portfolio for future potential clients + growing personal brand.

Hey bro, can you tell me what the continuous visual effect at 8 seconds is called?
@RealClumzАй бұрын
These are a bunch of AI generated Images using MidJourney with a blur on the edges. You just put them all together and shorten them so they are on the screen for less than a second. And then you place an adjustment layer with a zoom out motion. The sound effect is a "page turning SFX"

Hello, how do you handle revisions for a certain client? Do you send a contract beforehand giving a limit to revisions?
@RealClumzАй бұрын
I don't really limit revisions, I want to make sure the client is satisfied. However, if the client is asking for big big revisions and is refusing to pay you extra for making you work extra hours then that is a red flag client. My current clients are not like that. If they ask for small changes then yeah no extra charge. But if they ask for too many things, I would charge a little bit extra for it.

@RealClumzАй бұрын
you have to work your way up. My first video was for someone random gaming youtuber. He wasn't really my first official client. More like a project ordered. He paid me $80CAD for 5 days of work. 💀You need to build testimonials first. If you have never worked for a client or anyone ever, then you should focus on getting experience and reviews. This way you build some trust around yourself & your brand.

I hope this text finds you well. I wanted to express my sincere admiration for your editing style and the exceptional quality of your work.. Your portfolio templates have caught my attention, and I'm very interested in purchasing them.. However as I'm based in Egypt, I've encountered some challenges with the payment process. I was wondering if you might be open to an alternative payment method for Egyptian customers. If you're amenable.. I'd be happy to transfer the equivalent of $10 USD in Egyptian pounds via a local service like Vodafone Cash I completely understand if this isn't feasible, and I apologize if my request causes any inconvenience. I greatly respect your work and the value you provide to the creative community.. Thank you for your time and consideration.. I look forward to potentially using your templates to enhance my own projects 🥺 Wishing you continued success in your endeavors✨️
