Beautician here🙋🏼‍♀️ Wet a cotton pad and cut it into two moon shapes 🌙 then apply Vaseline onto one side (this will stick it to your skin) instead of buying sticky pads because they HURT to take off - but you apply onto your lashes exactly how I apply onto my clients, no need to be particular about it😂 Love your videos soph🩷

Beautician here 🙋‍♀️ - the reason your eyebrows turned orange is because you’re tanning and tinting too close together! I reccomend tinting then tanning at least 24hrs later or the other way around. I think it’s because the peroxide is still very much active/still in your eyebrows when you’re tanning, it causes it to stick to your eyebrows more. Hope this helps xx

To answer your question about heat protectant - once you apply a heat protectant, you DON'T need to reapply it until you've washed your hair again. It will stay in your hair and have lasting effects until you wash it out. Also, it depends on the formula, but in general, I don't advise applying heat protectant right before you go in to styling. Heat protectants generally do better when they're applied to wet hair and either air dried or blow dried. Hope this helps!

I used to have so many clients come into the pharmacy and ask for help because they ruined their face with the shaving trend. The peach fuzz is there to protect our skin and it should not be removed. Especially if you are acne prone. It makes your pores vulnerable to breakouts. I know it is a trend and I get why people want their makeup to look smooth. Just be careful. Love from Denmark🥰🇩🇰

I also use vaseline around my brows to help with any overspill of dye. I used a mixture of black mixed with blue/black for my lashes & brown for my brows. Being a lady over 50 my facial hair is growing like mad & realistically speaking I could shave it every week but I tend to do it every 3 to 4 weeks & use the flawless face, I love it, it works so well. I also use vitamin c from MEDIK8 I love it! I have facial tan here but I'm a little nervous to use it, I'll think about it some more. Love your videos Soph, you're an absolute joy to watch & learn from 🫶🏻

I used vaseline round my brows also , it's a great tip. I also like how dying your brows makes them look more fuller as for me they catch the little blonde ones round the edges and then you can go in afterwards and pluck them and tidy them up.

It’s normal to have a breakout after you remove facial hair if you have oily skin, the oil travels along the hair away from the skin. If you’ve removed the hair the oil has no where to go and can cause a breakout.

Soph I have acne prone skin and when I shave my face it’s immediately after I wash my face and I do it dry. If I use an oil I break out. I started shaving my whole face abt a year ago and I hated that stubble feel too even though my hair on my face was blonde but if u do it every 2-3 wks you’ll get used to it. The feeling goes away after a few days. Your skincare and makeup goes on so much better plus it gets all the dead skin off too. Your skin feels n looks like a baby’s butt 😂❤

HEAT SPRAY ANSWER: heat spray is very different to any other hair product, you are supposed to put it on VERY lightly. The hair should NOT be wet from it. To help, section your hair in half, sprit twice on your brush and the brush half your hair with that. Half a sprit on your brush should do for your bangs. Enjoy

Hey Soph! Luv u & ur content always. You’re one of my “Comfort “ creators as they say on the tikytoky. Anyways as for shaving my face I’ve learned a few things that help. 1. Wash face really well then apply ALOT of oil/serum. 2. Take a brand new disposable razor and clean the blade with rubbing alcohol. 3 with the razor almost flat against your face start at the top and move down in small strokes with a bit of pressure holding the skin tight. After that throw out razor. It’s too much of a risk of infection. Next wash face again and wipe a cotton pad with a few drops of rubbing alcohol over ur face. This will make sure u won’t get breakouts or an infection. Also I found something that has improved my acne almost 95%. It sounds weird but every few nights I will put a large amount of baby diaper rash cream on my face. I look like a geisha but wow did it ever help my skin. (Make sure it has zinc oxide) can be used with retinols, AHA&BHA. Also found BEST vitamin C cream. It’s by Vanicream it’s call a vitamin C serum. Amazing. U can even use it twice a day & with retinol. Anywho hope that helps! 🫶🏻☺️

Soph, maybe shave/dermaplame everywhere except the areas where you breakout the most. This way you aren't disturbing the skin there but are still getting the benefits everywhere else. You could even try using your other tool over the breakout areas because I feel like it would be quite a bit more gentle there. Hopefully this helps, especially with your big day coming!!😊🤍

I loved the video. I've been wanting to dye my eyelashes for a long time, but I'm afraid to. I've got long lashes, but you can't tell because the tips of my lashes are light. I think after watching you do your lashes, I might try it. I used to dye my own hair for years, but I've been lazy to do it. I'd love it if you would do a tutorial on the eye look from the latter part of the video, please. When is your wedding, Sophie? I imagine you and James are getting excited. I'm excited for you, I hope your wedding day will be perfect and happy. The devices for toning your skin are usually for mature skin. You're so young is probably why you don't see a difference. They do work on older skin. The electric pulses tone the muscles under your skin, so it gives you a lifted look. I love you, Sophie, take care and stay safe🩷🐈🐈‍⬛🐶🐕🐎😍🩷💐🦋🌈

Also, don’t dermaplane over acne or spots because when the blade goes over it will slightly cut it and get the bacteria on the blade which you will then spread and cause more spots! Not saying this is why you may have slightly broke out because you don’t look like you have any active spots but just possibility xx

I wasn't impressed with the Living Proof dry shampoo, didn't understand the hype? Maybe just my hair type but I prefer Batiste! Well done for doing the lash tint, I'm a pro and it's hard to do your own. A little tip to prevent the brow skin staining is to wipe it off and reapply rather than leaving it on for longer. A cream developer can be a little easier. Possibly tanning straight after dermaplaning may cause a break out, leave a day or so inbetween. Soph, you are fabulous 👌

Try using aloe for shaving rather than oil. I have sensitive acne prone skin and it works well for me and doesn’t break me out.

I shaved my face for several months and noticed that I kept getting cystic acne on my jaw so bad. I've never had that before so I stopped shaving my face and it went away.

I just want to mention girls with pcos or other hormonal issues dont do the dermaplanning. Our hair is different, a lot more coarse, dark and shaving in places we dont necessarily have hair can make us start to get hair there. I have pcos and used to do the face shaving and i think i made it worse unfortunately

Oooh thank you for sharing! 🌻 I've been thinking about dermaplaning but I've seen people break out badly from it so I was unsure but now I won't because I have PCOS.

@@just_caitlin yeah it can make you break out too since it's exfoliating the top layer of your skin and can expose you more to clogging of pores but yeah I find anytime I waxed or did dermaplanning it made my facial hair a lot worse. Also plucking is really bad too for PCOS, my dermatologist told me the best thing to do is to use an electric shaver on it

Dermaplaning made me break out so badly so please make sure you trial it professionally if you decide to do it before your wedding😅 I still do my upper lip and it's fine but going anywhere near my chin gives me the worst flare ups 😅

I shaved my face once - never again! Broke out all over my jaw and have never broken out there before or since so it was definitely due to shaving!

LIFE HACK when tinting your lashes- if you get a cotton pad pull it in half damp it and then cut it in half (like a half moon) once you put vaseline on your skin put each half under your eye and bottom lashes and it works a treat to save your skin from the tint🥰

I’m exactly same as you, I once went to a hairdressers for my 13th birthday and they cut my hair and they cut it all wonky, apart from having my eyebrows threaded I’ve never had anything done at a salon or by a proffesionally, I just do it all myself ❤

You've probably seen this comment already buuutttt my eyebrow lady told me that the reason brows go red/ginger when you have tan on then tint is because the tan apparently makes the tint develop faster and it can cause a bit of a reaction with the chemicals or something...that may not be 100% right but it always used to happen to me when I'd tan on a thursday night and have my brows done on the friday morning!!

Loved this video. As a 44 year old woman I always shave my face , when I've forgotten to do it for a while the satisfaction of all the peach fuzz coming off and falling in the sink is kinda cool , luckily it's very blonde so hardly noticeable unless your right up in my face. I love how it makes my make up look and feel also. And I use just for men to dye my eyebrows I saw another KZbinr years ago use it and I've done the same ever since as the dye lasts ages in the container. Don't know if it would have the balls to do my own eyelashes I have dyed like the tips where they're more blonde though. I've got the dye in my eye once and it kinda put me off trying to do it myself. As I learnt it at collage years ago I felt confident, lol 🤣. I've thought about getting them dyed professionally but I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ , I'd rather just brush them up and use my eyelash curlers to make them stand out more. You're very brave doing it yourself ❤❤

Personally I would absolutely NOT use miscellar water right after shaving. It will seep into your open micro cuts. I recommend shaving with an aloe vera gel or even a gentle gel cleanser as a “gliding shaving cream” and keep your routine simple as possible the DAY OF shaving. No AHA’s /Exfoliators just gentle face wash + basic moisturizer. 😊 the day after u can then return to your normal routine (this avoids breakouts & flare ups)

I love the video, Soph! Great tips. I'd love it if you could try out some masks that aren't sheet masks. I always feel wasteful when I use the sheet ones but the other ones can be so dang hard to find. Then I don't know if the tub is worth it or not.
