How I got 150 on the Duolingo English Practice Test| Full Test & Tips (The DET)

I received my score today and it is good. I got 130 overall( production 125, conversation 125, Literacy 130 and comprehension 130). The university I am applying to asked 120 though

@@mrpoet_09 my practice test score was averagely 125-135. In writing and speaking sections try to be task relevant. Trust me you will nail it. Don't focus much on writing many words, just write 50-60 powerful words. Even if you write fancy words with good grammar, it is worthless unless u directly answer all asked questions. If you are getting 110-120, you have high chances of getting 115 or even higher. How many times did you practice using your account? What I have seen from DET practice test is that if you are practicing using very old account your practice test score is smaller than the reality. For instance, I did DET in 2023 and got 110 overall, and when I practice using that account this year, I have been getting 110-120 and I frustrated. I once practiced using my friend's new account and by my first practice I got 125-135. Then, I concluded something and took the test and got 130 overall. N.B. You can only use new account for practice only, and taking a real test with multiple accounts will disqualify your score and u will be banned for good

You smartly answered all the questions. However, you missed "Impediment" in the fill in the gaps. You mistyped two sentences in the listening section. "The company prioritized the use of recycle materials during the manufacturing process." , "I felt very sorry that I put them through so much trouble.", "Their first day at work was successful." and "Despite graduating years ago, he still has access to his university email account."

"unify" means to join people, things, parts of a country together so that they form a single unit, so "unite" is better based on the context
