Couldn’t even land a regular 9-5 because the job market was tough and no one wanted to hire Canadians, so I had to grind YT even harder to escape the drama at home. I know it probably sounds stupid but, coming from a household from the complete opposite side of the spectrum with my dad making well into 600-700k a year, I am only encouraged to work hard in school and not allowed to get a job as per my parents. I'm still in high school and wish they had instilled discipline into me with chores and such since they don't make me do that. I really think stuff like that early on enforces a good work ethic. I am now considering getting my first job at a restaurant and eventually work my way up to something like a high end server (as you are). I would love to get an M4 in my 20s and seeing you come so far is really crazy, especially in you preparing to buy a Huracan. Crazy stuff! I look forward to more content and thanks for sharing this stuff with me. I think that is the best motivation but everyone needs to grow at their own pace and focus on their own journey. As a young person in high end hospitality, my friends and family cant seem to wrap their hand around how much money there is to be made in it. As long as you have a strong drive and desire to work hard the money is definitely there. Best of luck to you brother!

I’ve been watching since the s4 days and I knew you were going to make it. Congratulations. All the videos like this you’ve made where you’ve been transparent and breaking down the financials has inspired me to work harder, save my money (I’m a bit of an impulsive purchaser), and take advantage of my situation since I’m very blessed where I’m at in life due to my parents. 🙏

I made a lot of mistakes with cars when I was younger and I'm going to be paying for them another 2 years. It gives me hope to see someone making such smart moves in their youth. So keep enjoying the journey little man. And leave the haters eating your exhaust. :D

I'm sorry for your loss man, i couldn't imagine how that feels. I'm in my first year of college, and I'm thinking about starting a KZbin channel or Instagram page. I'm only going for a 2 year so i wont have to pay for anything and i get money back from refunds to have as savings! You've given me some inspiration! So thank you.

I don’t often leave comments under social media posts, but ever since buying one of my favorite chassis coded cars this year after years of saving and penny pinching to get it, I have to say that I completely admire the dedication you’ve got. Hopefully with some years ahead of me and some practice I can aspire to a modicum of what you’ve got for yourself today. Good for you, Jake.

Powerful lesson on saving and how far you can get even in a low paying job by being frugal. Massive respect. Your dad also only helped you by introducing you to a job and not just giving you an inheritance or allowance. Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Appreciate you sharing behind the scenes of how KZbinrs are doing it. You’re being an inspiration to the kids out there that want cool cars but not sure how/where to start. Even if someone doesn’t come from money, you can still enjoy life if you work hard for it

No secrets bro, you’re hustling. I’m 19, skipped college and got down to work. Bought Chrysler 300S with 28,000 miles this year. People like us go far in life, keep your head in the game and have fun doing it!

Man, you are an inspiration for me, I am from Brazil and moved to Canada 2 years ago. Last year bought my Mazda 3 brand new, and last week just financed a brand new Golf gti, none of those cars are really “cool” if you say so, but I love them. Currently I am working 4 jobs, and seeing your videos inspire me to work even harder and chase my dreams! I am 23 as well and my next dream is a house with a garage to put my cars!
