I like 800T because with a yellow filter it can be shot in daylight - it turns into a slightly grainier 400D. Ilford XP2 is my favourite black and white, it has fantastic latitude and it can be developed by any lab because it uses normal colour film chemistry.
@jonathanfostr9 ай бұрын
Just posted my first roll of xp2 on IG and I love it so much! That’s such a good idea for 800t, I’ve been shooting a couple during day, imma try the yellow filter 👌 thanks for the suggestions 🙏

For 120: Delta 100 (b&w) and Portra 160, and for 35 mm: Ektar 100 and Color Plus 200. Thanks for keeping the 400D hype alive haha.

Nice video. I just came across your channel as I was looking for new content to watch. I've shot film for a long time. Started in film back in the 90s and then returned to film in late 2012. I actually took that camera on my honeymoon, along with a Minolta HI Matic AF II. I ended up making a book with the images. Film shot was Fuji Superia Xtra 400.

That’s an amazing idea!! I may do the same with my upcoming honeymoon this year, thanks for stopping by and watching! 🙏

Such a cool video to watch ! I did the same when I started film photography, I love how compact and light my fuji xt30 II is so i purchased the Olympus xa2 for the same reasons and I love it ! (for your next video, I would recommend to lower a bit the music so we can focus better on your voice)

Olympus XA might just be the best camera ever made tho, so fun! And thanks for the tip I wasn’t 100% sure if it would be or not haha I’ll take note for next vid

Great stuff Jon. Do you ever experiment with pushing and pulling the different film stocks or pretty much stay with box speed? Sandman
@jonathanfostr2 ай бұрын
My p&s only shoots at box speed but I’ve used an AE-1 and done so with b&w film at it’s def fun! I need to explore it more tho
